  • i don't think that blackmore ever planned for such solo. to me everything he does is magic. no one can beat him. and burgi gave this song different taste, shame he's in a pop band now.

  • a magician not an artist

  • AS DIO SAID."HES A GENIUS"

  • Amazing Solos.........Fantastic,,,,I always want Cry if heard This Music........

  • i love Ritchie Style of playing his so called neo-classical metal, is different from others, he uses more arabic, medieval, spanish phrygian (gypsy stuff that he used like in Gypsy Kiss, Spotlight Kid etc), i haven't heard him play a diminished kind of scale that other neo-classical guitar player often used... :)

  • I like very much Ritchie Blackmore, he is (for me) one of the greatest guitarist of our time. I never liked Difficult to cure (although I like so much classical music).

But here in this version, the intro is simply fantastic, magic... for sure RB at his best !

  • There's another, older, version of this on YouTube but it's only the first half. Thanks for breaking it up into 2 videos to get it all in. More people will post when they find this. BTW, good luck finding Finyl Vinyl, either on CD or the VHS version, it seems to be hard to find.

  • Amazing. Dark, dark, dark intro on the Strat. This man invented this harmonic minor scale and many tried to follow. Beautiful!!! I think this is the finest piece from Ritchie. We love him!!!

  • OMG!!!!! only 3 comments to one of the most glorious pieces of Rock n Roll music ever written, what a travesty. Anytime I feel down I put this song on and it satisfies the soul. Come on Ritchie drop Candice Night and go back to what you were born to do.

  • This is one of the best cuts on Finyl Vinyl. Ritchie Blackmore's introin to Beethoven's

symphony is glorious...I've always loved to watch Blackmore's handywork on his Fender...amazing...and how about Chucj Burgi on drums...so cool...and Mr. Takashi Hiroi and the Japan Philharmonic performing with Ritchie Blackmore & Rainbow!

  • Fantastic - the Black Knight in full swing :)

  • someone told me about this song that must be the devil who plays those notes... well he is rigth! Blackmore is the f..in' devil!!! Pure Genius!
