Hey dont listen to what anybody says. But i have some tips for you.
1) always TUNE your guitar before you play anything... and when you get better learn how to tune by ear
2) Make sure you have the right chords.
3) take lessons but be careful choosing a teacher. Theres tons of teachers out there that cant teach or let alone know how to read music.
