its a fender jazzmaster sunburst and the guitar for if you were there beware is a gretsch spectrasonic(rare) jamie uses a gibson es 335 with a bigsby tail piece, a black gibson lespaul custom and a red fender starcaster which is also very rare and if anyone is curious about the basses nick uses p basses, a rickenbacker and that is a gretsch in the video

the arctic monkeys are a band that doesn't sell out. they are not going to make the same album over and over again just because it sells. If you wanna blame someone for their new sound, blame their producer from humbug, i dont remember their name, but he was in Queens of the Stone Age. He had them listen to Cream and Hendrix while making the album, which shows in the songs.

But I love them and cant wait for the new album!

Yeah, and i liked the last shadow puppets, they had a nice new style and sound but I do get a bad feeling it's had an effect on the Arctic Monkeys. They aren't supposed to be like that, they're supposed to be much faster paced and more excting, that's the arctic monkeys I know as my favourite band. There a few good songs on the new album but as a whole it is slightly dissapointing. I'm still loyal to them and love them but Humbug just doesn't do anything for me.
