Long live Cledus. As for whether or not he should have impersonated Johnny, that's the fun of parodying someone else's work. It's amazing how close some of Bob Rivers' parodies sound to whatever they're making fun of. Take a listen to their song Going Up to Bethlehem. It's a CCR parody and it's uncanny how much the guy sounds like the singer from CCR.
I heard this song for the first time on the radio yesterday, it is funny!!!

I just love those running gags where cats do such nasty things in country comedy songs.
In Ray Steven's Christmas song, "Bad Little Boy", he glued a cat to a rocket and "accidently" shot it into a bulldog's yard.
The immortal line in that song:
"Stupid cat. I hate that cat."
Here, the cat sets a tree on fire.
I love it!

i love this vid. it's so funny. but whoever sings it shouldn't pretend to be johnny cash. nobody will ever replace johnny cash.

yeah but if he dint to try to sing like johnny cash, i dont think the song would be any good.

True, no one could replace Johnny Cash, but they can still impersonate him!
Just look at those Elvis imposters, and how good some of them can be.
Of course, the original is best, but it's still fun to hear!
