Info....Started out as an Instrumental before Cynthia Biggs persuaded Dexter to use her words. She had been inspired by a Las Vegas show girl, who once on stage in her monologue, described love as "Sweet Pain". Terri Wells sings lead with the Jones Girls on backing. Features on the album "Philadelphia Uncovered", probably the best Philly compilation around, which includes Silk "I Can't Stop", Dee Dee Sharp Gamble "I Love You Anyway" & The O'jays "Lovin' You, among others.
