I saw missingo once also. I was playing a random new game and i hacked and went into the water with my lv 5 turtwig. Phyduck was there and then missingo was next to him. I was cloned wen i threw out my turtwig. Then the other pokemon next to me was three white rectangles. It was weird.

okay, when usin' the cheat, you must hold down 'L'. Secondly, it wont screw your game up. Third, you must have the national dex to get past the blackout. Past the blackout, nothing happen. You just waste one pokeball. he does not end up in your pokemon.

kay, here is how it goes. Mr. hacked missingno is not an authentic missingno. The authentic one will wreck your game, buut this one is FAKE. It is harmless. Believe what you want, but that video is fucking proof of his non-harmfulness. TPC programed D/P to handle glitches with an auto freeze. So things like missingno do not happen.

have u ever heard of the instant egg cheat? well if you haven't look it up on google. Leave a ditto or any single pokemon in the daycare then use the cheat. You will get an egg automatically. Once you obtain that egg from the old man use the quick hatch cheat and that's how you get the bulbusaur, but I don't need a cheat to get rid of them because I found a code that deletes all pokemon in your party

@LocomotionTCG: For some reason, without the national dex, the game will confuse itself into thinking something is there. With D/P, the programers programed that if the game encountered an error, it would just freeze the game, to avoid things like missingno in the others.

Thus making it near impossible to find the authentic missingno.

This happened in my sapphire. all you have to do is use the walk through walls trick, or in ur case just use the masterballs cheat, thencatch him without the pokedex. the reason why it wasn't working is because he doesn't have a pokedex number, and the game can't figure out what to do. so without the pokedex, u can catch him.

Okay, use the code in the description, discard EVERY item in your Items Pocket, Hold the L button while in the grass to encounter a wild shiny Missingno. You need to have a national dex to be able to bypass the dex screen without it freezing. I have still yet to figure out how to actually catch it.
