Methinks you need to separate that crossing into two turnouts, or re-lay the loop siding on the same side as the diverging line to eliminate the crossing.
I love videos like this because it's like 'oh yeah dude almost gets hit' *click* 'oh this is serene... I like it...' it's nice to have something different :)
u think that was a close call?? i hav a 45 year old electric triang hornby set and the trains crossed like that but they hit and one coupled on to the last carrage of the other train and pulled it off that train and they both kept going with one pushing an extra derailed carrage in front of it. BEAT THAT!!
Thank you. I'm not sure what you mean by a bit more vid? Of that same sceen? That's all I've got of it but if you search BeezrGeezr videos on You Tube you'll find many, many more train vids.
The layout consists of about 650' of track and goes around my bass pond and up into the woods with a tunnel and another small loop. All of my vids are of this layout. There are two taken from my roof that shows pretty much the entire route. If you watch either the engineer's view or the brakeman's view you will see it all.
When I tried to put a Bachmann coupler in that little coupler box you said, it wouldn't fit. What coupler do you reccomend for the pilot, although a Kadee would probably work.
Coupler is attached to the front truck, (wheels) with the pilot, (cowcatcher) removed. If you give me your email address I'll go take a photo of the set up and send it to you.
unstoppable!!!!

How did you couple the two 4-6-0's together?, they don't have pilot couplers. They are equipped with dummy couplers.
spiritomb 3 years ago
After removing the 'cow catcher' from the second loco,I fashoned a coupler tongue and attached it to the front truck. Body mount would not work.
