@hnturs12 The original surveyors report called for a bridge, it got one. Then the bridge aged and needed replacing so they tossed in a pipe and filled in the bridge. Those piers for the trestle have been buried since 1970 ish. The department of shortcuts made a poor choice.
My mother works down at Judge Book/Eltham Lodge. Many of the residents were evacuated into the nursing home from the independent living. Much help will be appreciated with the clean up and donations of blankets for them. :)

Oh wow, the rail bridge got destroyed! Hopefully they can fix it before school starts so I don't have to catch a replacement bus -.-
