Who are you to decide who are the real fans of wrestling and such or not? Wrestling isn't all about the 18+ year old male audience, and if you think it is, then you should watch WWF of the 1980's and early 1990's - they had gimmicks and such aimed at little kids. The only reason the Attitude Era came about was because ECW and WCW were adult-orientated, so WWE needed to conform.
I suppose that makes a decent amount of sense, however i beleive is was because the hulk hogan fans grew up, so in order to keep theyre fanbase they needed to evolve. I think the same thing will happen once cena fans get older.

I thought the match between John Morrison v Rey Mysterio for the IC title was a good one. A clean fair fight, had it's momentum swings, plentiful moves, lasted a fair time. Deffo one to mark down for the purists.

The crowd hated Rocky Maivia, chanting "Die Rocky Die." In Aug. of '97, Jim Ross approached Dwayne with the idea of turning heel & joining the Nation; He accepted. In Oct, he joined the Nation when he interfered in the Faarooq vs Chainz match. He didn't become "The Rock" until Dec when he cut his promo with Austin for the Intercontinental belt.

What John Cena represents is horrible. He represents the PG era, the worst era of wrestling ever. John Cena himself isn't that bad of a performer. There is a reason he is the top guy, and that's because he has talent. The problem is that when Cena is your top guy, that says a lot more about the rest of the locker room than it does about Cena. The PG era is screwing him up. His original character wasn't that great, but he never really got a chance to change it into something better.

He just does and accepts what WWE tells him to do, it's his job, and he gets paid to do it. Even if he has boring matches, it's not really his fault - WWE gives him a limited moveset. @JtSatan8732 Cena actually used to be pretty damn entertaining every time he got in the ring. But that was back when he had the rapper gimmick, not "just before the PG started". From like late 2006 to present, he has been the same lame himself.

@KingHotdog Actually, Its PG thats killing wrestling.. What you speak off back in the 80s was not PG, that was a golden age, which exposed the WWF to the world which ahd definiatly had non pg segments.... Now nearly all of WWE is PG, and back in the day, we didnt have all these super used moves...

@Yoshihhhh u sound like a broken record all u can say is PG is killing wrestling. The 80s was way more PG and way more sucessfull i want you to tell me what wasnt PG in the rock n wrestling era of the early to mid 80s not just 1 thing but a list of things and i bet u cant. Seriously people like u need to stop thinking that wrestling needs blood, cursing and chair shots to the head , wrestling is more than this and people like you are shallow and have no place in modern wrestling.

No offence, but the way you speak I cant understand anything, so its you who either is not that age, did not grow up watching 80's ea?
Stone cold vs Rock, Angle vs Stone Cold, Dudleys vs Hardys, TLC, The comics that where also there, EA, Big show just wanting to have fun and impost other gimmick to name and i can go on..

@Yoshihhhh There's nothing left. It's all about the money, and Vince won't budge to make changes that appeal the loyal fans that were with him in the good and bad times. Vince promoting Cena as the face of the WWE is like a figurative spit on our faces.
