Hmmmm. Just my humble opinion, but it seems as though there is a subliminal sound here. Borris on drums, Porl and Robert on guitar, each rather doing their own impromptu towards the end. It's like they knew they could never sound this way ever again and honestly I don't think they could pull this off again with their scabby lineup at the moment. They may have been just doing their thing, but IMO it's like they knew they would never hit this peak again.

I can't thank you enough for this. The fender bass vi has the best live recorded tone here. Not sure what is worse, Jason's drumming or Perry's guitar playing. When Porl came back i was so hopeful. I thought maybe we get the Prayer tour line up and i will go see them again. But then no Keyboards and stuck with Jason. Maybe some day. This is my tops for a Cure song, i only wish we had video. All the best mate.

@yetibait01 yes, Boris is very creative.. sadly Robert messed with Boris drumkit sound in the new Entreat Plus and made him sound almost like pussy Jason Cooper :(

Oh Boris. There's no point in seeing the cure without you. The classic songs are tired and boring and hi hat after hi hat and constant cymbal crashing from Coop. Roberts responsible. I miss O'Donnell. But hey, they can eventually hire hands that will take the songs back to there rightfull place. Its the Cure. What talented drummer/keyboardist wouldnt want to be in the Cure? Start doing drugs again Robert. Apparently your tone deaf without them. Bloodflowers was amazing though...

@amigajenni Once Boris and Porl left it was the Robert Smith show, The musicians next got the credit they deserved. When Robert finally understood what Boris meant to The Cures sound, he already moved on. ps, The latest tour without keyboards is beyond bad.

Obsessed? no. Just admiration for a work very well done, that any other Cure drummer has done before or after him.

And about the the group "I love the cure", I dont like places full of groupies. That is for new Cure fans.
