a dervish would be a poor choice if you looking to downhill. As fun as they may be on flat ground they make a poor speed board. my personal favorites are Comet, Ladera, and Landyachtz. It really all depends on what kind of riding your going to be doing. Top Mount FTW

yea for DH the dervish might be unstable if you're talking about conditions like this video, but for garages and hills it would be fine. My favorites are landyachtz(i have an evo), rayne makes some nice boards, kebbek, and others im too lazy to think of. I have to disagree on one point though... drop throughs are teh best! lol

The top 11 riders were all on 75mm Retro "BigZigs", mostly in Lime and Lemon (80a and 83a durometer). 75mm BigZigs are the biggest of the ZigZags, the other sizes are 66mm and 70mm. Abec 11 makes several types of racing wheels, and some are found in the "Retro" and "Pink" series.

Most everyone is using a brand of tranverse kingpin trucks with 30 to 50 degrees of steering. The most common are Randal, Bear, Crail, Magun, and Kahalani. Hangers range from 160mm (6 1/4") to 203mm (8") wide.
