Anyone wanting play the guitar part. its NOT F E E E on the 6th string, instead you have to hit the open E as hard as possible to make the pitch rise momentarily. Very few covers on youtube get this right.
I read somewhere that George Plays Lead and Paul plays rhythm guitar. On the Anthology Version Paul plays lead and George plays rhythm.John plays bass.
@Mikelan082 According to "The Beatles: Commented Recordings & Complete Discography", on the White Album both Paul and John play the bass, George plays the rhythm guitar, John and Paul play the solo guitars. On Anthology I don't know lol
and this is where we realize who the real genius behind the Beatles was... George Martin... the way this song is FAR more than the sum of his parts really speaks to his ability as a mixer and producer... It's rather amazing, really.
@WantTheRevolution Mccartney is on bass.. no mistaking Paul on this one.. the bass sounds just as it did on Yer Blues and While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Wanna hear lennon play bass .. The Long And Winding Road or pre-overdub takes of Let It Be.
@kennyg03 If you listen to Helter Skelter backwards you'll understand why Charlie thought what he did - It sounds like he's singing "I likes dead" over and over.
@WorkingKlassHero Nah mate, you just take the original Beatles track and pan your stereo fully to one side and this is what you get. Probably from the re-masters series. Cheers.

this can be done with any industry used recording/mixing board, the technical terms escape me atm...
