Every child deserves to grow up with a mother and every mom deserves to experience the joys of motherhood safely. Mother's are so dang important. @recyclecongress I am very disappointed in your narrow assessment of a situation spewing disturbing & inhumane rhetoric from your pedestal. There are women around the world who believe that child birth and motherhood are women's blessings. This is NOT about "breeding" or about # of children people have! Some lose 1 or all their children. Have you lost a child? Tried for a second & lost? The solution is family planning options, qualified providers and adequate responses to complicated births!

i'm not saying that por people shouldn't have babies etc....but why do they always have so many children???? u can barely survive and afford to feed and upkeep urself, why bring so many lives into the world to suffer??? have sex with ur husband, but think of what you're doin, avoid getting pregnant if u know you're poor and can't provide the basic necessities

For you living here with availability of options, you can speak on things, however in the United States where I currently live, there is the highest rate of teen pregnancies, unintended pregnancies, infant mortality and maternal mortality than any other WESTERN country. What are the socio-cultural-ecological factors that affect this? It is NOT cut and dry! Reflect & digest before you repost!

@BrauneSuga i live in trinidad and there are alot of unwanted pregnancies too..but some people just keep having sex without protection etc, and make babies that they can't afford 2provide for...nobody's perfect, if u want children, then power to you...but don't bring them into the world to suffer..i know people make mistakes and we all have to learn from our mistakes but there are times when u should know better than to get pregnant an give birth to children that u can't properly accommodate for

These barbaric men refuse them if the woman hasn't been circumcised because she's 'open' and a 'whore'. Then, on their wedding night they force themselves into a opening the size of a pea. Gee.... I have a BRILLIANT idea to end 'maternal mortality'! STOP BREEDING! We have ENOUGH unwanted, unnecessary babies born into poverty. Women in 3rd world countries and/or those without health insurance should be STERILIZED! I'm CERTAIN that Planned Parenthood would agree.

Just check out "Agenda 21" and you will see how seriously the U.N. and those in powerful positions are about to wage WAR on overpopulation. As a matter of fact, overpopulation issues are priority on their upcoming 2012 Earth Summit meeting. Oh, and we will just SEE who the "waste of space" races really are very soon.
