MM? You mean, like, transfor mode or something? It's set either to ADD or SCREEN if that's what you're wondering. The lens flare itself was done in Corel Photo Paint with some custom settings. I don't exactly remember them, but I could upload the image if you need it.
Star Wars it's real.....it happened a long long time ago though....Back before this human race even existed, but they wiped themselves out so we become primitive and the dinosaurs ruled the earth.....
It's actually just two round lens flares with strong rays overlapped, rotating in different directions. I used Corel Photo Paint to create them, since AFAIK Photoshop does not offer the option to customize your lens flares very much.
@DaFrontlineTrooper - If you go to CREATIVE COW . COM you will find a handful of Hologram effect videos there. One of them explains how to do the moving scan line.
how do people think this is real?! dude! look at laws of physics and how its such a dense light, dense light=Photoshop, or any other video editor. Laws of Physics: for a hologram to work in reality, there must be 6 lights, all pointing IN at the area, the lights must be customized for it to work. LOP (Laws Of Physics)=this is impossible without all 6 lights.
Actually they've done it with 4, on a corner of a sqaure room. the lights meet in the middle and make up the image. They're trying to get television like that one day
mate were is that tutorial. im trying to start a star wars fan film but i dont know the editing bits to it. i would love to know the nity grity behind that eh
Not the effect - my hand movement is. I just used motion tracking to matchmove the effect with the hand movement, and since it was a bit shaky, the effect had to be as well.
How did you create that base light? that forms a triangular shape below Obi Wan's pic . .

I've answered that question in the comments on the top. Or do you mean something else?

Just one question. Not the actual hologram, but the light that shines below that produces the hologram. HOW?

@LSnicket4 You actually think this is a real hologram? Sorry to burst your bubble my friend but it's not.
It's just special effects software very well executed by the user I might add.
Tiberiusduck 9 months ago
@Tiberiusduck ....I am divided as to think if this is a troll comment, or if you're being serious? Because, if so... *sigh*
LSnicket4 9 months ago
@LSnicket4 I'm afraid your secondary comment was even more incomprehensible then your first my friend.
I didn't think that was actually possible, but "hey,... what can I say,... you proved me wrong".
Thank you so much again.

Mainstream05 2 years ago
@shadowtube567 not photoshop. photoshop isnt a video editor dude. and to create a hologram you must have thousands of lights. 6 light SOURCES
notsocomicaltv 1 year ago
@shadowtube567 nobody said that it looked real, they only said that the effect was cool. Don't make a big deal out of it.
