That's good stuff Rusty!! I'm a new player myself and always looking for guidance by watching and listening to different artists. I stumbled on this clip by accident and I can't stop watching it..Its great!!!
Wow geez Rusty that is superb!. You bring out the true beauty of the Jackson and your playing is immaculate. I love the marimba (?) sound you do on the break . When you are way up on the 24th fret it still sounds nice and gutsy . In all, a beautifully played tune done on a quality guitar.
The Jackson people couldn't have picked a better Steel Guitar player to advertise for them. You are the greatest and your style can't compare to anyone. YOU ARE THE BEST!!! Keep it up. Wish you were in Michigan.
Rusty, Tony Howard introduced me to you at Chubby's show. You were on first that morning and did a great job and you were a very nice fellow to boot. There's only one way to play....Your own way! I hope to catch you again. Greg
Rusty : You keep right on playing as you like to do; it sounds great on your Jackson; what a fantastic guitar. Tell them they have one of the best performing on it. You put such grand smoothness in your style of pickin'. Don't change for anyone.. You are doing just fine.. Bernie
To thine own self be true, Rusty. You do what makes u happy, and this is coming from a beginning lap steel 6 string player 64 years old who will probably never afford a pedal steel. Im impressed with how you play, so go for it!!!!
Rusty : Wow, what a great sounding steel guitar; you are doing an out-standing job on this song..Send us some more; you are a fantastic steel player. Some of the nicest pickin' I've heard in a long while..Bernie
thank you that means alot to the jackson people they have allways strived for tone over all of a steel guitar! and i have allways strived to be me but no one on this earth will let me just be that everyone wants to change me but if i did i couldnt play steel guitar the way i do !

Love the marimba effect at 1:30, and the super high notes near the end! Great playing, Rusty, and a fantastic steel guitar tone from that Jackson.
