  • BEAUTIFUL plane!! How many people does it take to fly it? It looks like 4 or 5.

  • @dave4shmups I think we were 8 by flight. Maybe less. I don't remember. We were first supposed to be seated (40) in the rear cabin (not pressurised) where they had to install Tupolev's seat but following a Belavia CRJ crash a few weeks before, it was not allowed by authority and instead off, they had to organise 5 shorter flights with less passengers.

  • Folks, this is an airplane for *PILOTS*!

  • I love the shape of the engines!

  • @redcarsarasota @tupolevtu124 And what about the SOUND, uh?... ;o)

  • Oooh you are so lucky.. An12 always impress me a lot. This and Tu96. Great video..

  • ALthough Tu-96 is only in military use. Both are ownzorzz

  • There was civilian version either. It was even flown with Japanese Airlines before B-707 became available.

  • Well I made a mistake on my comment, it should be Tu-95. And yes I know, Tu-114 is the civy version of it, and it flew part-time with Aeroflot in Japan. Good ol' days.

  • This one is particularly in an excellent shape. Considering how old these planes can be...

  • My father flew on one of thos! , during the afghanistan-Soviet conflict, over kabul.

  • Awesome video, cluttered cockpit!
