First of all, you have to be able to differentiate the difference between an Islamic country and a secular country. NOT ALL Indonesians are muslims (Yes the majority are muslims), however, there is no special mention of Islam in the constitution and therefore does not make Indonesia an Islamic country. All religions are legally equal in the eyes of the law of Indonesia. Just because the majority of Indonesians are Muslims does not make it an Islamic country.

Secularists have made an effort to make a distinction between the two. Thus it is important to mention that Indonesia, is a secular country, despite being contrary to common beliefs.

Did you even go to school? Didn't they teach you the difference between a secular and a religious country. In Indonesia, the law is not biased towards any religion (not even Islam), and therefore does not make it a Muslim country. A country is Muslim when the state religion is Islam. In Indonesia, there are 6 state religions and they are equal before the law, and therefore does not make Indonesia a muslim country.
