He sings this so tender for the first 2 verses, that it sounds like he's singing a lullaby straight to baby Jesus to sleep in heavenly peace... and then... the music and vocals get so powerful it's like the clouds open up and he is talking straight from God. This is one of my favorites on his album, (and to think I always thought this song was boring before David sang it)

At the end, I got a kick out of the skaters who were seated on the steps.....was wondering how long it would take them to turn around and look at David and when they finally did, they all had huge smiles on their faces. He does that to everyone!
