It's hard for a lot of people to understand something so bizarre, but recent stuides show that these people may have a deficiancy in the parietal lobe of the brain. This part of the brain has a section in it that "maps-out" the body for the cortex, letting it know where things are. Before people start saying terrible things about people with disorders educate yourselves on the subject.
I agree. The only problem is that the parietal lobe deficiancy has only been recently discovered, and researchers now need to figure out what they can do about this deficiancy. There's also the problem of getting enough support for more research to be done. It's really quite a breakthrough for these people.
