@WaspCarcass Well you got Metal Gear Solif 4 that tykes place in the Middle East and everything is in English, and in Resident Evil 5 its in Africa and signs are in English. But whos to say that English is not only used by humans in the metroid universe.

@Snailman4 You just have to hammer on the A button as fast as you can. Personally, I can't fire as fast as he does either, but I can fire pretty fast. You just have to practice, though you'll probably hurt your thumb a lot in the process.

I don't know, but for some reason, I don't think they should've called this series Prime. Prime means like... first, or beginning or one, right? This takes place after the original Metroid, but before Metroid II: The Return of Samus (so, in between).

They should've called Prime a game that takes place before the original Metroid. There, they could start off with a cut scene that shows K-2L being raided. I don't know, am I the only one that thinks this way?

@Valo778 In mathematics, prime means that something is derived from and related to the original. There is no mention of it being the first in any definition, and in fact, is literally impossible to be first.

Been eavesdropping on them on a couple of occasions and most of their conversations sounded like AGHLARGBLARGHURGHSNARLetc. Out of all the rebellious creatures in the universe, why would the Great Space Pirates adopt the human language to serve as communication on their own ship? Either that, or the Varia Suit has some seriously fast translation, tho the voice sounded more like the Varia Suit with a serious case of cold and sore throat.

When I was in third grade and this was bundled with a Gamecube, I had no memory card and this scared the heck out of me when I tried to kill this things several times and lost. I finally beat this bug about a year later. .

how do u move around on the gamecube? so glad i got trilogy, cuz i'd have a much harder time with out wii motion

You use the control stick and that's basically it lol

To move the cannon freely you have to hold the R button down, but unlike Trilogy, you can't move while aiming freely. Also in Trilogy you can fling the Wii remote up to jump, in the GameCube version, your pretty much stuck with the "Bomb Jump".

Boss on what's basically the tutorial level? hell yes xD Not to mention this would be the first metroid game I ever played and just fighting the parasite queen with that music going on in the background was a new experience for me so naturally it sucked me right in xD

poor space pirates mother brain told them all that doing bad is good and all of them were turend to the bad side. we have to wipe them all out. but could you imagine if we had them on our side? that would be awesome.every liviathin that falls they could give some stuff to us and whith their tecnology we could advance ours beyond what we thought human and auora units could do. at least thats what i think happend

You'd think some of those rooms would be too small for the Parasite Queen to squeeze through and at the same time injure and kill all those space pirates. They must be the worst terrorists in the universe to have their only surviving test subject go on a rampage and kill them all.

A little tip, you can get down the ventilation shafts faster if you roll in morph ball, i can make it out in three minutes as a result haha. Nice way to start this awesome game metroid hunters!

the greatest mistake i ever made in owning the GC was selling metroid prime 1 and 2 before even completing 50% of the game... a mistake i hope will be corrected when the mail comes. these games still look as creepy as i remember.

i myself would like to know why they turned such a great action game into some dark scary game. i beat both mp 1 and 2 but they kinda ruined it when they turned it so dark

Adding scary things though adds to the realism.

Metroid prime 3 is great! What you're going to love is how much control you have over the character. It feels as if you're there. :D

Fission metroids also appear in certain areas of the PAL version in phazon mines. It doesn't happen in the NA version.

I guess tha fact it is forming a nice general pace and flow, all of it leading up to the big drop at the end. Sort of in the vein of Pirates of the Carribean and Star Tours, with so much detail around you. Even the Parasite Queen reminds of the Universal Studio Tour, where the bus is trying to escape from King Kong.

The space pirates aboard this frigate are doing experiments on various creatures with their new found source of energy, the phazon.

The Parasite queen was just another experiment gone wrong so the vast majority of the space pirates evacuated from the frigate (seen in the scans towards the beginning)

Samus is here to investigate the distress beacon.
