  • LOL 'Master remains secrets' :-)

  • However: if you don't know anything about sound design and making sounds from scratch you will never get that synth sounds!

  • nice sound guys! oldschool/newschool> everything comes together!

  • WAW this is really amazing and THANK you very much to share this

  • Diggin those desktop monitor stands. Who makes them?

  • Nice one, thanks for the tutorial. Interesting to see your methods. Its good of you to make these tutorials, thanks again!

  • @markadamburnett - if you go into the red on the master then yeh, it's a problem. Anywhere else it's fine as Ableton (like Cubase and Logic) has a massive internal headroom before distortion. I've tested Ableton in the same way as I did Logic on this video here - youtube slash ySTLa5ude6U and results are the same. I prefer not to go into the red as a visual thing but sometimes when you are in the heat of the moment it's hard to be housekeeping.

  • Will your track be on iTunes Danny?

  • @ericcarson1 - yeh, i'm soon to sort a deal for wider distribution.

  • Why are some of the plug-ins blurred out?

  • @NarcoticBeats - I put a message on the video explaining why. I've got to keep 'some' things for myself. Maybe one day i'll let people know but for now I'd like to keep it the last thing I have that's a secret ;)

  • @musicprotutorials Sure but what's the harm in just giving the name of the plug-ins? Unless you're embarrassed by your reliance on presets? :}

  • @NarcoticBeats - If I used presets I wouldn't be ashamed, plenty of people use them and get great results.

  • @NarcoticBeats to be fair, he put this tutorial out for free and just wants to keep one thing to himself. and lets be honest, its probably not the most important part of this project. we've seen a bit on the arrangement, sound design, automation and effects etc. i'm sure its not that hard to learn or read about what plugins are suitable to go on a master bus.

  • Great:P!! nice skin...:P where i get this one???

  • @djmacnamara - search Aurex Ableton Skins

  • @musicprotutorials Than you very much:P I got it:P its 100% free skins:P

  • very inspirational! thanks

  • Had many people submit tracks that they've used the instrument rack for yet Danny?

  • @kenseoul - none so far sadly, really keen to hear anything made with it though. I might even use it again myself on something.

  • @musicprotutorials Still early days... Just been to Traxsource to buy it myself!

  • Nice one Danny... Wicked track .. great video!

  • Very nice! Thank you :)

  • duuuuuude

  • Ok hold on! I cant run many tracks in ableton like that. I have a macbook pro and Imac and both with multicore processors run out of juice after about 20 tracks. It seems i can run about 100 in logic. I dont use many plugins that are cpu heavy. I just thought it was the nature of ableton. I know i must be doing something wrong. Any tips?

  • @deep6ixx it might help if you freeze some of your tracks that reduce what you can do but also reduces the cpu.

    hope that helps

  • I just want to say thanks for making the time to do these tutorials. Your a top bloke, your advice is really useful & you make wicked tunes. I think other producers should take a leaf out of your book. Cheers & please keep posting.

  • like the skin, how did you get?

  • Good work!

  • Thanks for sharing. Picked up many tips from your vids. Have you made the move to Live completely? I notice most of your productions lately have been in Live.

  • @TheHedgehog - yeh, most of the production i'm doing these days is in Ableton but it has been influenced by the course development work at Point Blank. If I worked on a new Logic Course i'm sure i'd flip to that, same with Cubase.

  • Nice job. But lol KRK monitors...

  • @RocMSocMRabbi - At my place I have Genelec 8030 and the Rokit 5s stand up pretty well considering their price. For students on a budget i'd recommend them. Do you have any recommendations in the same price range?

  • @musicprotutorials mmm good point... :(

  • Great work Danny!!!:)

  • Thank you!!!
