Ernie's lucky that Sherlock admitted to having taken the sandwich. Because, in all honesty, if he hadn't Ernie wouldn't have been able to prove anything. Those clues he pointed out are really just circumstantial evidence.
This is the awesomest stuff ever. Are the people that make or watch crap like desperate housewives any cooler or smarter than sesame street folks? Uhhhh.. Nope, less so on each count. It's grown ups that decide to make this stuff. Are the producers, ceo's still trying to shock their elderly parents with how naughty they are. Dag it don't make sense. People would watch this way More than the current crap. Thank You Sir Mack for posting this. This and Roosevelt Franklin, etcetera are "Real Life"..
Oh look...There's a cocaine syringe inside the lucnhbox. So whoever ate the other half of your sandwich likes chicken salad, doesn't like breadcrusts, wears a buttoned coat, and injects cocaine.
I believe it's a real word. It sounds a bit similar to the expression "my God," except that they probably had Jerry Nelson say "Egad" instead of any other expressions that sound like it.
The only "sandwich" Sherlock deserves from Ernie is a *knuckle* sandwich, even though they'd never get away with him saying (or doing) that on Sesame Street. Five stars!
Oh my ogd. The first awesome video that hasn't had a dislike. Let's hope it continues. So far so good.

I haven't seen Sherlock Hemlock in a long time! In books, of course. This was the first time I saw him as a puppet.
Can Jerry Nelson sport an English accent or what?

Sherlock Hemlock was introduced in 1970. It could have been later then that though.
