i must give credit to gilmore girls script writers they are like brilliant.. each words that comes out of each characters mouth is splendidly amazing (i dont know if theres such word as splendidly) they are just great.. even the stories suck you just cant get enough of it.. and btw i love jess and rory they are perfect.. but well we can never get what we want all the time can we???? :)

ASP (Amy Sherman-Palladino) the creator & producer of GG had them together at the end, but after season 6 warner bros and ASP couldn´t come to an agreement, so ASP left the show after season 6. ASP always said "I wanted a differnet ending, different things for Rory and Lorelai", she also said "I created Jess as Rorys other half, the one she really wanted to be with" . So they definitley should have ended up together. Rory & jess 4 ever in our hearts <3

Agreed with most of the comments here. Jess is the perfect guy and Rory should have chosen him over Logan! Stupid blonde spoiled brat! I can't say Logan doesn't love Rory but I guess Jess has always loved her, and she changed him and made him a better person. And, even though she says she is in love with Logan, I guess she still loves Jess a bit. Maybe in a part well hidden in her heart. I don't believe she would have gone all that way just because she thinks of him as a friend.

This episode always makes me cry. After Jess left Rory has been with two other guys but Jess is still in love with her. I think it's stupid that she should choose Logan over Jess. I miss the third series when everything was happy. :-(

End game with out a doubt was rory and jess and it sucks if the rumor about why milo didn't come to the show to complete jess and rory's love story is true.

As nice as it is that a off screen relationship is born from an on screen relationship, when the happy ending for the off screen relationship doesn't happen then you can guarantee that it will ruin the on screen relationship, cos of the awkwardness between the actors. So most times it better if it's just strictly business between them.

@CJPDeQueen I like this ending better any way ( It leaves the door open for Jess and Rory to get back together). It's clear that Rory and Jess are end game ( at least to me), but I believe the writers always wanted Rory to go off on her own.

I agree with you some what and maybe if milo had gone back we wouldn't actually have seen rory and jess get together on screen in the finale but it may have been more hinted at. It only came clearly to me that rory and jess were end game for the writers/producers after I read about it on wiki, cos it wasn't hinted about like it was for lorelai and luke in the finale.

Clearly, Rory still has feelings for him otherwise she wouldn't have let the kiss go that far.

And he's still totally in love with her--his body language says it all, especially the way he leans in toward her when he says "I'm glad you're here". It's not fair what she does to him. He totally thought that they had a shot--he had no idea she was still with Logan. It breaks me up to see him broken because of it. It's such a shame. I want these two together!

@telltalemse Rory dropped out of yale when mitch said she wasn't going to make it in journalism, then stole a boat with logan, fell out with her mother, leading to her living with her grandparents. Still with Logan Jess shows up to tell her he wrote a book, they decide to meet up but Logan turns up and is a total tosser to jess. Jess shouts at Rory for dropping out. Logan takes that as theyve broken up and sleeps around while rory thought they were taking time she finds out her and visits jess.

Well, at least she didn't end up with Logan, so we can still imagine what's next.

I mean,it's really upsetting since this is the LAST scene in the series that Jess is ever in, and the last thing we see is him staring after Rory with such a heartbroken look in his face. He really did not deserve this. Yes,he screwed up a bit in the past,but he does not still deserve this crap after all he's done since & the all time that's past.

you can easily see Jess is still in love with her! But she had to go and keep Logan. I still think Jess was her best boyfriend and one she should've stuck with. If they made a season 8 (which I wish they did) I would've wanted Rory and Jess to get back together and Lorelai and Luke to get married. They could also make a GG movie!! I would watch that!

Dean was lovely albeit overprotective, Jess was the best albeit his tendency to hurt Rory, Logan was interesting albeit his rubbish attitude. Rory should've picked Jess. At least I wish he was mine!
