  • girlisiouseusa she meant she was going to cut it withouse peeling it first

  • i learned a different way to do this, where you stick in a needle on one of the ridges, you cut the banana by wiggling through it

  • Another way to do that trick, and without having those stripes on the banana skin is this one: once you put the needle inside the banana-with no thread-, just prick on it. Now you have it in, move the needle from right lo left (so u feel you're slicing the banana that way), remove the needle, and rub a little the skin of the banana -as you do at the end- in case you might see a little hole. It's easier than using the thread instead. Hope you like this way, too ^_^ Greetings from Gran Canaria.

  • COOL!! :) ;) (; :)

  • (1) its better if you slice it and give it to them right away btw

    (2) its more fun if you just slice it in half and then they open it and it falls on the ground :)

  • oh you so didnt "peel" it.!

  • i love the theme song! lets see what's cookin its time for yoyomax........12

  • or... you can just slice it up with a normal knife :-)

  • lol xDD i'm so going to do this to my lil brother (he luvs magic tricks(he does magic tricks :b))

  • Thanks for the trick, i'm going try to pull this on my nephew..

  • Thumbs up if you think she ate the banana after this video! Lol

  • It's easier if you just poke the needle through a brow spot, then move it back a fourth, then take it out and just keep doing that. Much quicker.

  • My kids are going to love this! Great trick :)

  • just for a timepass better try to put some thing inside to make a joke

  • This is cool and all, but it's time consuming if you're actually cooking something, and it's unsanitary.. I'd rather peel and slice; you get more even slices that way.

  • @AnnaEmery101 ...it's a magic trick, not something you're going to do for dinner...

  • @myxxstorie Thank you!! Some people just don't get it, they think I a proposing this as a method to slice bananas. ugh.

  • @yoyomax12 *dies* Yeah, because you've got nothing better to do with your time than slice your bananas before you peel them -__-;; *sigh*

  • @myxxstorie It only took her like 2 - 4 minutes a slice. Not that long. And IT'S A MAGIC TRICK. Did you not hear her???

  • @gimmepb Not sure you're replying to the right person?? Either that, or you need to read my comment again...

  • @AnnaEmery101 This is a trick to fool someone, they open the banana and it is already sliced, that is the idea. Not a way to slice bananas.

  • I just tried this.....I LOVE IT!!

  • this was on lambchop :] haha

  • Magic -snort snort-

  • My grandkids will love my new trick!

  • Cool.

  • So cool.

  • haha. I'm going to do this to my mom. she eats bannanas all the time and now I can trick her

  • an easier way is to get a longer needle and stick it to one of the ridges and move it side to side in the banana until it feels like a clean cut. whala u get less hole and no thread needed

  • ....Dirty

  • Technically, you could slice a banana without peeling it by just cutting it regularly without peeling it beforehand; although that is a nice trick.

  • This is FM.. FM is a tech term Computer people like using now and then :p. FM = Fucking Magic LOL

    :D

  • @HyperTheProfessor it's not as cool when you explain what it means.

  • @temikalols Fucking magic.

  • LOL bahnahnah HAHA genius I made a little snack of my own so could you please check out my channel and see what you think? A comment would be great! love your vids btw

  • 3:45 Jamaican accent?

  • Fun =)

  • im going to totally do this to my dad!!! >:)

  • easier way is just to insert the needle, almost all the way, move it around untill you got to all edges, its faster and easier :)

  • LOL, that is sooooo clever!!!

  • Or..........You can just eat the banana.

  • U sound like my principal (mrs alavi)

  • The trick is cool, but i personally wouldn't waste my time when i can peel and slice... my opinion! buti love ur videos. Keep up the good work!!

  • I'm going to try this out on my great-uncle - he loves magic tricks.

  • My grandsons will Love this trick! Thanks for sharing and I can hear you just fine!

  • that's pretty awesome! my sisters love bananas and this would be a good trick to pull on them.

  • @yoyomax12 thank you for the cool video. People are being mean so just ignore them. It was actually very creative.

  • When Is your new video coming out?

  • I can hear you fine.

  • Make more videos! :) :) i love ur vids!

  • great video love all your cooking videos this is me joeabro1 my second channel.

  • I want more Max jokes!

  • Make more videos please

  • Won't it be easier just to slice it regularly?

  • @PhamtasticAlena Yes, but this is a trick to play on someone

  • That was cool, more please. :)

  • OMG cool

  • mmmm banana flavoerd dentil floss :P

  • When's the new video?

  • also if you stick a tooth pick in it and move it from side to side it works alot faster :)

  • new video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Make New Videos Pls !

  • UPLOAD A NEW VIDEO PLZZZZ!

  • I love all you videos! Espesially your cupcake decorating! Just a hint on the banana trick. Instaed of treading your banana just poke one whole per slice by puching you pin in and move it back and forth.across the banana without pushing all the way through. Its much faster and you dont have to poke as many holes. -_-

  • Your not you... Oopps LOL

  • yoyomax.. banana trick!

  • ya, children will love this trick! Great!

  • Cool

  • Cool

  • I watched Mr. Wizard years ago as well.

  • very cool! i was wondering if u can do a "pocoyo" cupcake i need to do some for my sons birthday! just search pocoyo on youtube thanks!

  • hey, there's a easier way to do this without the thread, and less holes on the peel...0_o

  • I left a comment 9 hours ago and that was from my iPhone. I can hear you just fine even when the volume is down low and my volume is usually on 1 or 2. Now I am on my iMac and its too loud! on 1. Lol I guess it depends on others Phones/Computers. Was fine for me. Love the Video anyhow. I'm just getting ready to do the trick to my Hubby! Can't wait until after work tomorrow! haha

  • Oh my gooooooddddd soooo amazing.....

  • Really cool. My son will love this :) Thanks for sharing.

  • I hope you know how amazing you are!!! Love watching your vids, you're SO creative!!!

  • I'd like to do this to my husband but he eats the banana in the car and would probably drop half of it and not have breakfast if I did this. HMMMM..... what to do. hahaha funny trick

  • awsome! but how can i trick my friend if they all watched ur video??

  • Why am i watching this o.o i dont even like bananas...

  • I was thinking the same thing, lol. But it's still cool.

  • What I learned here is to never eat bananas that have already been sliced

  • My husband takes bananas to work. I think I'm going to try this. Hahaha

  • Poor Banana REST IN PEACE........ es

  • it'S SO REDUNDENT....COOL FOR KIDS THOUGH...

  • This is soooo cool!!

    I love your videos <3

you are doing a great job.

  • OMG I was like :O throughout the hole video...

  • @CookingAndCrafting you don't need to get defensive I was just asking and yes I did watch the whole video and I'm so sorry I was confused but I was... You didn't need to answer me like that you could have just said its in the video or actually tell me.. I watched the video I just got confused.

  • Tammy,

This was so fun and it really tickled. Brought a smile to my face.

I was really disappointed to read some of these comments, because I liked this video and would hate to think you'd be discouraged from making more offbeat things. I know you handle haters very well, but I hope they don't make you give up on the rest of us. I really like you and your work!:)

    Jayne

  • I saw this already and saw the real one

  • I, btw, thought the sound was okay.

And your banana did not even remotely look rotten.

  • bwahaha That is just so awesome :)))

  • why dont you just use the needle and swing it back and fourth in the banana instead of using the thread? alittle easier that way?

  • This banana looked rotten on the outside... BUT OF COURSE, AWWWWWESOOOOOME!!!!!! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO gonna try this

  • you are so awesome Tammy, I watch all your videos even went back and watched the ones you made before I subscribed. When ever I feel like baking these days my first thought is 'Has yoyomax done this before, how has she done it?" makes baking so much more fun now that it works most of the time :)

    Thanks for everything :)

    Courtz

  • Like What @lanzGrurrl Said I Can Barely Hear You ..... And The Camera Was More Clear Last Time .😊

  • @EpicForeva123 Yes, I have to make some adjustments on the laptop or get some new software, hopefully the next one will be better.

  • That's cute Tammy. Oddly enough, similar to a trick I saw when I was a little girl... I mean when I was little. The way I saw them do it was to place the needle on the ridges on one side of the banana and sort of "slice" from side to side. Sometimes it didn't cut all the way thru, but still pretty much worked but with only one hole per slice.

  • I love your videos and I thought it was a fun way to start off the new year! I'm sure through all the comments on here you can see who really appreciates what you do and the happiness you bring to people and those who should be labeled 'too stupid' to live. Keep up everything you do because you bring so much joy to so many people around the world!

  • Magic bananas

  • can barely hear u. i had to turn the sound all the way up

  • @IanzGurrl Thanks for letting me know

  • Comment removed

  • This is so cool! :)

  • Oh, ok.

  • This is awesome!!!

  • That was interesting! A lot of time doing it though, might as well peel it and slice lol. Thanks for sharing this.

  • @biniciesma Takes some practice :)

  • At the end when your ready to cut pull the thread do you pull the 3 inch piece or the longer piece if that makes sence?

  • @cupcakes4life1 Pulled both at the same time

  • It is good to keep variety on your vids. If everything you upload is cooking, sooner or later it will turn monotone. This is a NICE bonus vid.

Thanks yoyomax12 for all your fun cooking and non-cooking videos, I enjoy them very much ;)

  • @Ferkat90 This comment made my day. Thank you very much for taking the time to leave it, I appreciate this more than you know.

  • @yoyomax12 hi! you make awesome cupcakes! i will try the banana trick to fool my friends. i am already subscribed.

  • I did this trick to my brother half an hour ago and he is still asking me to show him how to do it!!! Great video!!!!!!

  • :) hehe ill do that

  • It's easier I'd you just take a long needle , put it in then move it in a ciircle motion. It leaves less holes.

  • hey, i also learned how to do this, but in a different way. you could easily take a toothpick, poke it on (probably on a ridge), and sorta wiggle it side to side to slice through. :)

  • This is a neat little trick especially if you have younger kids in school they could memorize there friends with there magic banana...lol

  • if you got lemon juice and put a bit on the holes would it stop the holes going brown or not? Good trick! :3

  • can't wait for the next anual banana slicing conference to show off my new-very useful- trick

  • Great! People who don't get this are missing the funny bones in their bodies. What dull and serious lives they must live. I only knew the needle wiggle technique.

Sound is a bit softer, but that could also be caused by the dryer I have running in the background.

  • Hi again Tammy...

You never cease to amaze me ~~ what will you come up with next...lol...lol...

The volumn is lower from your new laptop...but still easy to hear...

Thank you so much for sharing...

    Have a fun winter weekend...

    Surie

  • guys this is just a trick for fun... of course she knows how to slice a banana normally...

  • That's wild. I never heard of it, and you had me going, wondering how you were going to disassemble a banana, slice it, and then reassemble it. It'd be a great trick to drop it on a platter with some other fruit at a get-together, and wait for someone to pick it up. I'll bet that after a few hours those holes would virtually disappear, even to a knowing eye.

  • Was it only me, or did it look like that needle hurt D:

  • I might just do this on the next batch of bananas we get and see what Tom says when he goes to eat one! LOL

  • @mysteryglo,

    Film it! :-P

  • @anmoose LOL, I will! :))

  • that is pretty cool!

  • Yep, learned the needle in and swing back and forth way too. It really is a fun way to pull a lil tomfoolery on people, especially kids!

  • This is gonna sound stupid but does bananas have seeds? Btw, GONNA TRY IT YEEE.

  • @Dionnnnz Yes, but the seeds are entirely edible.

  • @Dionnnnz hmmm don't know, good job for Google :)

  • @Dionnnnz Bananas have seeds because it is a fruit and all fruits have seeds :)

  • this is great , but ur just wasting your time doing that , it'll go waaaaaayyy faster to just peal it and cut it ... lol stick with cooking please

  • @joanieefrechette it's a magic trick. the point is to fool your friends into thinking it was already cut like that in the banana. perhaps if you paid attention!

  • @joanieefrechette Of course it would be faster to peel and cut it, you completely missed the point of this video and somehow I don't think explaining it to you would help. By the way, "peal" is the sound of ringing bells and "Peel" is removing the banana peel.

  • @yoyomax12 Tammy I love you more every day. I was so going to respond to this but you said it much better then I could.

As my son would say "bunch of fun SUCKERS!"

  • @yoyomax12 don't listen to the haters. I think this will be cool for your child's lunchbox on April fools day :D

  • Do your best to ignore the idiots, I loved it. The sound was a little quiet but I'm on a new cellphone so that might be why. I can't wait to do this on April fools day !!

  • So cool I can't wait to amaze my son with this. TFS!

AS to some of the comments you can tell who is fun loving and who is a fun sucker just by what they say. Then there are the one's I like to take out to the woodshed but I have learned it does no good to feed trolls or try and reason with fools!

I don't know how you do it Tammy, you should get a medal. Along with our friend over at cooking and crafting.

  • @Ultimatecruegirl Hello Rose! I don't put up with the trolls for the most part and I block them. I will respond occasionally, sometimes I just can't help myself lol.

Google sends me a little something every month and that goes a long way in helping me put up with most of the trolls.

  • @yoyomax12 I think we need to all get a petition together and tell Google they don't pay you near enough and you need a raise. Cause whatever it is it just can't be enough lol.

  • What fun for a kids lunch box.

  • Hahaha - so much fun. I'm going to have3 to pull this trick on hubby one day soon. Yay Ripleys.

  • So cute and clever! :D

  • thats amazing!!! the kids will love it :)

  • Where have you been @yoyomax12?? I've missed your awesome videos!! Keep,up the good work!

  • I noticed no difference in sound. Cute trick! Gonna get my granddaughter with it. :-)

  • this would be a fun prank on April Fools' Day, doncha think?

  • Cute lil trick there. The kids will get a kick out of it.

  • @imchubiechu your mean

  • Awesome!

For the sound, I found the volume alot lower. I had to crank it up on my computer in order to hear well.

  • hahahah thats so funny :D

  • How cute is that?! You can always tell which viewers comment before watching the entire vid.

  • Hilarious! So gonna get the hubby with this one! TFS!!

  • Awesome! :) I love magic tricks.

  • no difference in sound, Tammy! Cool trick. - roc

  • cool!!

  • sounds better.

  • that was cool! :) Thanx!

  • I loveeeeeeeeee magic tricks. I know many of them mostly card tricks. Thats an awesome trick thanks.

  • i'm gonna gi buy some bananas now lmao

  • :)))

  • very cool!

  • So cool & clever! :) Thanks yoyomax!

  • @AnimeSisterForever omg it's a trick, you can pretend that you can slice a banana by magic and surprise people. I didn't show this as an actual way to slice bananas everyday.

  • ont u have to peel the banana to sho your trick LOL JK

  • i learned the take a needle then swing it back and forth in the banana then open up and SLICED !!!!

  • @glitteryglitz12 I bet that this method would be faster :)

  • lol I saw a similar trick on howcast. But yours method looks better.
