I noticed the ending in which the Spielberg "WotW" remake is shown and Hamill's closing narration was clipped off the "Forbidden Planet" DVD and replaced with the final two minutes of the film.

Spielberg u really got it wrong in the beginning! How come theMartians buried their ships and themselves under the ground, thousands if not millions of yrs ago and they JUST HAPPENED to get it right that our cities would be built where they had buried their spaceships?

Should have had the Martians had buried their civilization under the ground of Mars and then they attacked us!

Pal's film was great. Spielberg should have followed the ass kicking path. The part with the kids is way too emphasized.

And the Tim Robbins section is a boring waste of time, just like the majority of Jaws and Close Ent. parts with Dreyfuss.

@crabsyman I remember watching Kronos with my son the first time he saw it. He looked at me with beady eyes... "Dad, it's a refrigerator box!" Instead, he'd rather watch that "sock puppet", "Reptilicus"...
