  • sucks for him. this is why we still need the right to bear arms.. good thing she lise in the US and not britain or she'd been dead, raped, whatever.

  • i should know better than to expect any more from fans of fox news.

But YES i would aim low, and he would no longer we walking or advancing, hed be on the floor bleeding to death. so then he could spend the rest of his life disabled and suffering.

    a much more fitting punishment.

  • In the words of Clarence Worley, "It is better to have a gun and not need it, than to need a gun and not have it."

  • These comments are in reverse order if you are confused. My final comment would be know your gun and how to use it safely and effectively. Know your laws so you don't say or do something to get yourself locked up. Get a copy of the Crimal Proceedure Law and Penal Law of you state or go on line and STUDY- Use of Force, Deadly Physical Force, Affirmative Defenses, Duty to Retreat, deadly weapons & dangerous instruments, civilian laws of arrest, Tennessee vs Garner. Fight For Freedom!

  • Sorry. Once I get started..... Another important thing to remember is REASONABLE and NECESSARY. "I used a reasonable amount of force necessary to end the threat". In other words, if someone tries to burn you with a cigarette, it would NOT be reasonable or necessary for you to cut off his arm with a chain saw, but a punch in the mouth would be. If you use an amount of force that can cause death or other serious physical injury, you did it TO STOP IT FROM BEING USED ON YOU.

  • Anyone who takes on the responsibility of owning a gun should study the penal law of their state regarding the Use of Deadly Physical Force. If you find yourself asking the question, "Can I shoot now?", then you didn't prepare yourself for what you may someday be forced to do. That hesitation could get you killed or sent to jail. Don't just practice marksmanship. Practice maintaining your freedom. "I had no choice", "He forced me to", "If I didn't, I'm sure he would have killed me"...

  • Lets not get carried away by the emotion here folks. This woman did an outstanding job in defending herself against an iminent threat. However, in the same situation, remember, you NEVER shoot to kill. You shoot to STOP the threat. If the person dies as a result of injuries received from you STOPPING him, that is unfortunate but not what you INTENDED. Talking like a tough guy is what will get a jury of bleeding hearts to throw you in jail. Remember Bernie Goetz? His dumbass comments did him in.

  • read the castle doctrine people, if your state has it, you have the right to shoot to kill if you feel threatened by someone coming onto your property

all you liberals that dont think that is right, put a sign in your yard saying "come get me, whats mine is yours... even my life"

  • He wasn't coming inside for tea and crumpets....good job lady!

  • this story is crazy..but i do agree that things like this sould be repeated..

  • was an old boyfriend...........

  • actually i think it was a drunk that lived nearby that wrecked his car and then went to the wrong house

  • From my cold dead hands!

    Charlton Heston would be proud

  • Good for her. It was either her life or his... Glad she survived. He messed with the wrong woman... The old saying, kill or be killed. Protect your property when an intruder comes in and is brandishing a weapon. Fight for your right to live!!!!

  • NICE!!! I really wish the news would report more of these kind of stories. I LOVE IT...GREAT SHOT. Bless her heart!

  • Great deterrent ~ all the two bit punk burglar wannabees should take note.

  • Goodnight, William.

  • If you didnt want to kill him why didnt you aim low?

because you really did want to kill him.

you just dont want to admit it.

  • What are you going to do when someone kicks in your door assclown???

  • aim low, and not to kill.

    simpleton

    especially with a shotgun,

  • No, kill him. Don't wound him so he can continue his rampage. Assclown...

  • thats a good idea, wound him and piss him off so he is more likely to kill you. if someone sets foot in my house they wont have a chance to turn and run away or go to trial, my right to have guns to protect myself and my right to shoot to kill on my property, read the castle doctrine

  • im not saying dont kill him,

JUST ADMIT YOU WANT TO KILL.

    then put down your bible

    hypocryte

  • i never picked up a bible in the first place, i dont want to kill someone but i sure as hell am not going to give them a chance to even hurt me,

why dont u put a sign in your yard that says if you break into my house i wont kill you, that way they will go after you and live because if they come in my house, they are leaving in a body bag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Assclown is funny...

  • Billy - I just want to give you something for Christmas. Here's a bullet in your head. Merry Christmas. Have a peaceful holiday.

  • Looks like you picked the wrong house to break into, Mr. Ex Con.

  • Ya see, we should all be more aware of how bedazz the older women in our community really are.

  • And if the Libs had their way this woman would probably be graveyard dead

  • I do feel sorry for her. But she did what needed to be done. Lord only knows what would have happened had she not had that shotgun. Final score: Good-01 Scum-00

  • I am very sure the home invasion crimes within that county will drop severly after today ! - Don't be bringing any of that crazy mad man stuff around here either - we have something special for you too!

  • Thank God for the 2nd amendment.

  • ...just another reason why guns are good.
