why is everyone saying no co op? seriously red steel had multiplaer deathmatch mode. it was a shooter for the wii people you both were able to aim on screen just fine. just because conduit didnt go multiplayer doesnt mean they all have to. and why shouldnt it go online? wiis got wifi and that wii speak thing should be just fine for it

I played the re5 demo for the xbox today and it sucks to have to aim using joysticks... just plain sucks. any stupid ass thinks xbox or ps3 gameplay is better hasnt felt the freedom of the wii-mote... examples ive played being cod world at war, re4 wii edition, and metroid prime3. theres is just such satisfaction in pointing at the screen instead of using the shitty joysticks of the xbox/ps3 controllers.
you must be in serious denial, you still use a joystick to move the camera while aiming and while using the sniper rifle. the only thing the wiimote did was replace the right-hand joystick. Even though RE5 plays in every way like RE4, it would be a major letdown to see it on the wii. The main reason it is on TRUE next gen hardware is to show hi rez textures to convey a better sense of depth, temperature, urgency, and realism. let it go.

sanman220 graphics don't mean SHIT. I have RE4(which 360 fanboys can't get) for the Wii and it has the heart pounding action to make your head explode. The feeling knowing that you have to control with the remote like it is a real gun to stay alive against all odds make you feel nothing short of horrified. The real major letdown is that fanboys like you only want to bash the Wii and even consider the power that has yet to be unlocked it in. RE5 IS coming to the Wii and I just know it.

right on pupusaman! thank God there's still some people out there who believe in the Wii. After all, the Wii HAS impressed in graphics before, and it can do it again... We have Madworld and Conduit coming... RE 5 would'nt be that hard... Just no HD is all.... No big deal.... We only need the horror like in RE 4..... Wii can definitely do that!

look, tard, I OWN a wii, I am no consoles' fanboy. I also own a 360 and will soon own a PS3. I beat RE4 on GC and on Wii, so I know what I'm talking about!! Why would capcom downgrade what they have achieved just to slap a poor port on the wii. Stop assuming fanboyism when you know you're wrong, stop struggling and buy a 360 or PS3... not to mention that RE5's Co-op gamplay simply would not work on the Wii.

But that doesn't mean it will come out...

Yeah they already said they are making it for Wii but not until after it is released for the PS3 and 360 so we get it about 2 years after them, i dont find it to be anything special because by then RE6 will be announced and on its way.

Good point but for the hardcore Resident Evil players that don't have a 360 or PS3 and have a Wii, it would be awesome to have a Wii Version of RE5

When Wii came it out sold Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, half a year it still had the best sells.
Companies don't want to get games on the system selling the most? In the past Playstation 2 wasn't the most powerful system, but got more games made for it because it sold the best.
A lot of businesses today seem to lack common sense, no matter what kind of industry you look at.

Why's that? Nintendo consoles have never missed out on main RE titles. Plus, look at RE4s success, and that was just a port. Imagine how big a whole new RE game will be on the Wii

I dunno, I just think that too many developers are shunning the Wii's capabilities just because the system sorta lacks in the graphics department. To me, it seems that nobody is giving the Wii a chance these days, and being a Wii owner, it makes me a little upset. But you could be on to something, considering how well RE4 did financially on the Wii. We'll just have to wait and see what Capcom has up their sleaves. (Hey, I'm not sounding like a smart-ass, am I?)

nintendo doesn't care about the graphics and matters on gameplay. But nintendo has become too overconfident because of their high sell on the Wii console itself. If I were Nintendo's president, I would give what people want.

Yeah, I guess Nintendo has become a little too cocky with their success. Still, I hope the Wii has better success than the Gamecube, because from what the situation looks like so far, the Wii's fire might burn out sometime soon.

i dont think so because in 2009 the wii is going to have some more exclusives than the other 2 systems such as the conduit, mad world, monster hunter 3, and of course ZELDA so the wiis fire will last
