That's y that .12 ofcourse they give the best muzzle velocity, but trust me, i'v done really big testing among bb's, and I know that .12 bb's are the worst of them, they really don't penetrate anything and with .12 the accuracy sucks, just trust me.

talon34 are u kidding UTG has one of the worst reputations out there as far as AEGs go. The best M14 are brands are Tokyo Mauri and for the money echo1 has an amazing track record as far as quality of build, upgrade potential, and ease of use. UTG is no where near in the same league

If you put a tightbore in this and a tightbore in the SOCOM M14 the SOCOM version would have less range because the barrel isn't as long. Stock it would probably be pretty similiar though as long as you used high polished bbs such as AE's.

m14 is not a sniper rifle. An m21 is considered one. It is just gets some tweaks to make it more accurate. And semi auto isn't even ideal for a sniper rifle. The U.S current sniper rifle is the m40.

perfect for sniping? no its good for an automatic but can never compare to the a vsr 10 g-spec, many remington 700 model guns, and an asp. its good for sniping. but not perfect. doesnt have the range or accuracy of most spring guns. not trying to be an ass, but you guys make it seem like this is the best gun out there for sniping.

Spring snipers aren't as ideal as semi auto electric ones in the sense that you cannot put as much firepower or as many rounds down range. Being able to fire an accurate shot down range and then having the ability to follow that shot up with multiple shots makes an AEG sniper ideal for Airsoft in my opinion. Think; is it better to shoot one accurate shot (With risk of being spotted), or multiple accurate shots (with firepower to hold your own)? More bbs down range=more likely to hit the target.

This is the AGM M14, and is extremely accurate and perfect for sniping. The best airsoft rifle I have owned, however, in tight enviorments it tends to be a bit bulky. The high powered scope i have on it isnt really necessary but it does add the badass effect.

yes but technically an m14 with a scope is not an M21...to be classified as an m21 it must also have a modified gas piston to use a OPS suppressor
