Fantastic, Jim! 1000 feet is very far! I am starting now over winter time to transform my heli to a FPV ship. I just bought a SK 720 stabilizer with rescue option and GPS. Hope to be ready with all preparations next spring.
@captfrankheli Thanks Frank. I'm looking forward to your FPV experience with the SK720. I spent yesterday practicing autorotations. Got up about 50 meters, hit throttle hold and floated back down. The first time I took her up that high in real life. I have been practicing on the sim.
@roybob2000 Wow, Jim, you are making big steps. I wished we had flight weather here. 2 feet snow and storm is not a good condition. I am looking forward to follow your progress here on youtube.

Very Nice! I agree with chokey that flying fpv using a heli is a hell of a lot trickier then with a plane.
