I know this is 4 years late, but I'm wondering, WHAT CAR DID YOU GET??.=D...I own a 2006 Chevy HHR which I still love to this day!, I had it for 5 and a half years, and I will have it for at least 5 more! =D
for my 16th birthday all i got was a five thousand dollar shopping spree they asked if i wanted a car i said no i said just give it to me on my 17th bday so im happy but first i have to learn how to drive
I wanted a car for my 16th birthday, but I am 17 now and no car! I understand that I need to have money, and to have money I need a job. My dad said he won't get me car until I have a job and can pay the insurance myself.
@ShDiHa Your dad is a smart man. 1) get job. 2) manage money 3) be patient 4) Keep your eyes on the goal 5) don't borrow for anything but maybe $500 towards the insurance. 6) Have a nice trip
See Parents Really do everything for you... teenagers need to stop being so disrespectfull towards there parents because they would probally not survive with out them.. JUST APRECIATE THEM WHILE YOU HAVE THEM!!¸
@licherik allitle quick to judge teenagers arent we ? I have always had a great relatoinship with my parents, and most of my freinds growin up did to. And in some cases the parents dont always deserve respect , I grew up with a few people whos parents were very harsh and abusive.
@licherik i totally agree with you, but i think some kids are respectful of their perents and the others are just spoiled rotten because some parents would rather be their kids' friends then parent
If it was my sister sitting next to me and my parents got me a car I would climb over her. But I knew I was getting a car hell I was with my mom when she bought it for me.
it is because driving is seen as a right of passage from childhood to adulthood. Driving yourself in your own car is a huge for the first time is a huge moment, even if your parents get you a piece of crap to drive. Haha it doesnt matter.

spoiled. My parents had the money but wanted me to be a responsible teen and work for what I wanted. Sadly most parent's aren't like that
