i stopped watching the show because if i wanted to see 55 year old women that used to be hot, but were now old fat and washed up, i could just fly united airlines and watch the flight attendants. he should have been swapping them out every few years, so should united airlines
It is really sad that there had to be such strife between Bob Barker and Janice, Holly and Dian. Bob is a great host and they were the best models yet none of the four can stand each other. TPIR was at it's peak when the three models I mentioned were on the show.
@reger3 - I say he looks (and acts) pretty damn good for a man who has been walking this planet for almost 9 decades. Your just used to seeing him COVERED in make-up for television, and here he has none. I hope that when I am 87 I look HALF that good!
I agree. Barker was trying to promote a book and make a sale off of it, not to cuase another legal war with the Beauties.
One of the Beauties , from what I watch E! True Hollywood Story, I think she was abit of schizo. She went on about how her husband was CIA or secret agent, and how he disappear in the Himilayas or something. She had that weird, crazy look in her eyes. She was a blond Beauties but I don't remember who it was. Holly?
No, it was Janice...her husband (Fritz Stamberger) had disappeared, supposedly while mountain climbing in the Alps...in fact, it coincided w/the debut of TPiR's popular "Cliff Hangers" game, and it's been said that Janice ran to her dressing room crying after the first playing.
Holly, Dian, and Janice were an essential part of TPiR for over 15 years! I loved that era of the show and it really sucks that they are all so bitter towards each other now.
He didn't go on for more than a few *seconds* about his longtime Beauties--either when asked about them here or in his book, and despite his fascinating ups and downs with them--which is the point of the video. It's precisely what he isn't saying (including their names) that speaks volumes.
