  • I was in this movie when it was filmed in Madison, WI. I play the part of the truck driver at the 76 truck stop on HWY 51 and I 90 I’m sitting in a booth in the restaurant drinking coffee when I talk Eva in meeting me after work at my truck. I have a second scene in the parking lot sitting in my truck with my co-driver and Eva in the bunk. I still live in Wisconsin. Critics ratted the movie 43.5 stars and I was written up in the Cap Times entertainment section on page 1 Eastwood was on page 2

  • love this scene, one of the few happy ones. Thanks for posting.

  • i love what bruno represents in this scene as beautiful individual and herzog has a continual theme of addressing a deluded working class mentality

  • I love this scene. I think this may be an example of what Herzog refers to as "ecstatic truth" in cinema because what we see is a truth in what Bruno actually does as a real life person. The child like innocence of him is really sweet and his singing is so heartfelt.

  • shhhh

  • @mowner

    ???

  • I remember seeing a similar scene in Hitlerjunge Quex.

  • Ian Curtis saw this film before commited suicide!! Tragic conbination a good piece of art and a true sensitive poet!!

  • A good film but also a sad one, this and The enigma of Kasper Hauser are both interesting films to watch.
