Just got Zombie Fluxx, looking forward to the first game.

Was just looking for reviews on this game because I saw it at B&N and got a butt load of money for my birthday. Watching the creator of the game describing it in such an exciting fashion sold me on it. You can tell when someone worked that much on it and is still thrilled about the idea of playing it that it must be fun.

But if the rules are draw 1 + draw 2 + draw 3 wouldn't you have to draw 6? Otherwise the rule cards would stack instead of sit beside each other.

@Mikemc Contradicting New Rules kick out the preceding one. When Draw 3 came into play, it superceded the Basic Rules which say Draw 1. If someone then plays Draw 5, that discarrds the Draw 3 rule like you do with Goals, so no, you don't add them up.

Same logic with Play, Hand Limit, and Keeper Limit rules.

Picked up Family Fluxx from BattleQuest Game in Horsham ( they opened today ) For the 6yr old in the family its been a brilliant card game no trouble picking up the idea of Goals and Keepers and loved the Child rule allowing her pull more cards on the go. Top marks for this game sir thank you.

i love this game. we played it at school with a teacher who was a game maniac. the fun part was. people actually tried 2 find a strategy fitting enough to win. but they never figured a good strategy out with this.

Are normal/other fluxx and zombie fluxx got the same card backs design. So you can't tell which cards are in the others hand. So you can merg the decks together?

yeah. all Flux decks have the same background. except the dutch version has Blue backs and the English version has black backs. on their website u can see the decks and strategies

I got Fluxx (standard 3.1) recently. The game really does explain itself as you play. You'll hardly need the very small rulesheet included. We've played several two-player games and the mechanics seem very solid. Occasionally awkward situations develop, but they usually seem to resolve themselves quickly. I'd definitely recommend this game though.
