I think what makes Vestax better is the fact it has a straight tone arm which increases the anti-skip. Plus the platter is more presicion than a 1200. 1200's a legendary but companies like Vestax (for vinyl turntables that is) take things to a higher plateau. Right now the industry standard for all things DJ is Pioneer.

Mista Sinista is a great juggler, A-Trak and Shortkut are some of the best scratchers around. Mixmaster Mike is my favorite of all by the way because he is making sounds that are from outer space.
