Ryan was upset that they took his phone away because he was texting his dad. His dad was in the hospital, dying. Ryan and brendon arent gay, theyr just really close friends. The interveiwer is an asshole. Ryan shouldve left the interview.

@live4love87 I'm confused as to why everyone is bringing his dad up.....he doesn't say anything about that at all actually. They joked about his sidekick being taken away....thats not really an asshole move. I know what happened to his dad and all, but I'm confused as to how you know he was texting his dad when he doesn't mention him at all in the interview?

@softballstar3031 he says "yeahh..its uhh....yeah. My hands are shaking. I'm having withdrawals." as in, he was joking about going through withdrawals from having his sidekick taken away. :) nothing to do with his dad, and I don't think he said alcohol. :)

@Untouchable445 At the time of this interview Ryan's dad had recently died. Ryan probably wanted to keep his phone to stay in touch with family. The took it and wouldn't let him have to do the interview. Brendon taps Ryan's leg to hold his hand. (the interviewer has gotten a little too cocky at this point.) Ryan takes Brendon's hand and the guy laughs.
