If u put ur bed next to a wall window or door like you had it baddies will spawn next to you it happened to me just put it 1 block away grow a wall and it worked for me hope it helps you

Zombies kept spawning in my face in my lets plays too, but i was informed if you have a bed right next to a wall, zombies/skeletons would spawn IN YOUR HOUSE.

Mobs can reach through doors and one block corners, put the bed against a solid wall or something.

Btw, don't give up just because mods don't work. Most of the time one mod breaks minecraft, with many others, is because your installing the mod wrong, or they are NOT compatible. Backup your jar ♪

Also, it doesn't matter if you have shut doors. If it's near a thin one-block wall, it'll still spawn mobs next to you, skellie or zombeh.

Why zombies keep waking you up, your bed is against a wall that's one block thick. Try to move it inside your home or away from thin walls, mobs can get in and wake you up regardless otherwise.

Beds don't get affected by doors. It's just a matter of the walls you place it by, or place it near that have to be more then a block thick.

To fix bed: move from walls OR add a second layer of walls in the outside.

If mobs get within two blocks of your bed they'll wake you up. D:

Actually the monster woke you up because

1. your door was open (of course)

2. Your bed is against an outer wall, if a monster can spawn 2 spaces away from you wall or not he will wake you up (thank god creepers dont do this)

Mods not working?

Common issues:

You didn't delete the Meta-Inf

You didn't download the required mods (like modloader perhaps)

You didn't put the files in the right place
