That is one awesome aircraft. I love the avionics on the Su-27, but the avionics on the Su-35 is state of the art. The Su-35 can track multiple targets at one time, and the aircraft has more hard points than the Su-27.

No idea why you're saying the N035 radar cannot detect an F22. If we're to "believe the hype" of the F22's capabilities, why should we disregard the hype of the Super Flanker's capabilities? I've even heard the EF2000 has locked up F22. $350 million/plane is a joke. Stealth was obsolete 10 years ago when F117 was shot down.

Those 2 videos suck. As far as movies go, 1 was simply CGI animation straight from the manufacturer. The other one had terrible resolution, bad sound, and was just a bad video in general.

But I fail to see how either is "proof" that the Su35 sucks. So what if everyone gets AESA/PESA. It's the current technology. At the end of the day the Su35 can do maneuvers that the F22 cannot, demonstrating it's agility. And the R77 has better range and maneuverability than AMRAAM.

@rtrThanos There is a reason the russians construct the PAKFA! The single most important advantage of the F-22 is it´s stealthy design. Because of the low rcs design the F-22 can detect planes like the Su-35, the Eurofighter, Mig-35... much earlier and fire it´s rockets on them first.

But even more the stealtyness is important for ground missions, where a plane must be able to slip through air defense grids and attack strategic targets.

The R77 has better range and maneuverabilty than the AMRAAM because it is a much larger missile that carries more fuel and use lattice steering fins. Load 6 R77s onto a SU-35 and their weight and the air-drag created by their fins will degrade the SU-35's agility. You put 6 AMRAAMs into a F-22 and the F-22 will be pretty much as agile as before because they are ligher missiles and are carried internally .

Su-35 has radar that are more powerful than Eurofighter's radar, with greater detection range. Also Su-35BM got new missiles: upgraded R-77, R-73, KS-172 with greater range than "Meteror". Look at facts and TTX: Su-35BM is more capable in BVR than Eurofighter.

No, the 37 is a prototype. Russia is producing the 35 instead, currently the canard-less Su-35 BM is the top of the Flanker line in production (I don't know how many BM's have been built).
