@its4it They are lumped together now, but there is a difference. Western music was cowboy music of the American. It was very melodious and gave rise to Western Swing. The singers had less of that twang we associate with country music which had its origins in the southern US. It is twangier and had a stronger blues influence. Of course, today, it's all just pop music with big hair a big amorphous blob of mediocrity.
I am so happy that I had folks like this as role models. I believe with all my heart that the young people today are missing something. RIP Dale & Roy, you are missed.
Everybody loves Roy Rodgers and Dale Evans. Everybody loves the Muppets. Fitting they should appear on the show.

I sure miss Roy and Dale. True Heros in a world that needed them desperately! Heaven is lucky. I miss the Muppet Show too.
