  • Corvettes for appetizers; Vipers for dinner.

I'd love to put a Pontiac V8 in the Pantera.

    Retirement car...

  • the engine in this isnt a cleveland because if you look at the heads they are too opened the cleveland heads are a v then go up

    this is a windsor

  • Man thats awesome

  • DAMN.. 180 degree headers and x pipe sound WOW... WHOOOP there went a load

  • The action starts at 2:02

I tell you what. I'm glad i'm get along with my father-in-law cause he show's me bad ass cars from the past, like this.

  • What's for dinner?

  • stunning motor.

  • @wideangle852

The very first time a Pantera was entered in a road circuit race in Italy, it beat the pants off all the Porsches and Ferraris. It was enough to send Porsche back to the drawing board to come up with the 911 RS. I have owned my Pantera for six years now, and I can say, THERE ARE VERY FEW CARS that can keep up with me, and fewer that can pass....straight line or in the corners. With MILD improvements, ie. tires, shocks, some simple engine mods, a Pantera holds its own very well.

  • Power by..."FORD"...

  • how the hell can you dislike this video ?!!? if only had the money

  • GONE IN 6 SECONDS

  • 351w

  • @suesandiego 351 cleveland i think

  • Those had a 351c right?

  • @9piecewood

Yeah, stock they came with a 351 Cleveland.

  • did u sell?

  • What a beautiful car too bad the seat covers are such a distraction. Need something better.

  • beautifull

  • and lamborghini's for dinner no doubt?

  • Trade straight across for my 427 cobra??

  • Very nice! But with those sheep on the seats ... here in Switzerland only people 70+ have those in there cars, and never in a sport car. Funny!

  • @68knative With all that glass, little headroom, the firewall behind the seats and dodgy air conditioning, the interior can get hot very quickly in a Pantera.

  • @nomadmac That seems to be good reasons :-)

  • 2:16 uuuUUU..... hmmm uuuUU hmmm uuuuuuÙÙÙÙÙÙuuuuu.....

  • That car is "sex on wheels"!!! I'd sell my soul to just ride in one!

  • so clean... and choice! Screw retirement, I'm gett'in one.

  • @edtavarez It's for sale!!

  • @suesandiego whats the asking price on your kitty? also what is estimated horsepower? Who did the work on your car? Any info greatly appreciated.

  • @suesandiego priiiice please?:)

  • @suesandiego how much?

  • @camelsamul $50,000 589 hp

  • @suesandiego - Contemporary classic 427 cobra......wanna trade?

  • All encompassingly cool

  • Porsches for breakfast, Ferraris for lunch? Must have eaten a Ford, because that's what I see in the engine bay.

  • may i ask what that noise was at 0:32 ....?

  • @93FordMustang93 That noise is the struts on the deck lid closing

  • @93FordMustang93 It was the Ferrari's horse for lunch lol

  • @93FordMustang93

    That was a fart

  • If I was going to nit pick at all, I would say careful with negative engine load such as the down shifting at 2:26. You want positive load, or neutral, such as idling. Most engines let go under negative load. So said the late Benny Parsons one time on TV talking about Nascar engines.

  • Well, there are so many different ideas about the perfect running conditions of an engine. The worst part about it is that they all make sense. I have been told that the worst condition for an engine idling. The idea is that without a any load on the engine that the engine will tend to jerk forward on each cylinder firing and then jerk backwards when no cylinder is firing. So positive and negative loads will limit the amount of jerkiness. So said by a sprint car builder.

  • Beautiful work! Can I ask you where you got the straight pipes? Also, the center console with the radio delete.. is that your own customization or did you buy from a vendor? Any info will be appreciated since I'm about to buy a 74 :). thanks

  • Holy s****!

  • Nice launch! Incredible car! I'm so jealous.

  • Gonna have to flag you for Pornography on this one man! ^_^

  • Really nice car, but Huggie Bear called and wants his seat covers back...

  • really beautiful...the right color the right wheels interior to go,,,sheepskins are for comfort I guess...sweet ride man!!!!

  • @suesandiego LOVE the ARE Torque Thrust wheels! They look great, I personally might have opted for chrome Torque Thrust II's but still top notch!

  • 180 degree headers ?

  • @inagod Yes, two pipes from the left side merge with two pipes from the right side, and two from the right merge with two from the left side, this allows for better scavenging and increased performance.

  • badass!

  • holy shit thats a nice car, engine sounds amazing

  • hahaha just GONE! so nice!

  • I dont know how anyone with a penis would NOT think this is cool. Perfect car, AWESOME burnout!

  • @MrFiat131... were do you get off with that misconception because of what you see in a 2 minute vid clip?.. This pantera could outhandle your tiny fiat any day.. Take your misconceptions somewhere else you prick.. Btw have you ever heard of a CTS-v?. No!?.. How about a corvette?... Yes a corvette will out handle many euro cars despite what you think.

  • looks great, from outside, the exaustsystem is also rly cool, but the interior o.O remove that 2 sheeps^^

  • Drømmebil nr1!! De Tomaso Pantera, råere lyd finn du ikke!!

  • I have had a hard-on for this car since before I could drive. Its timeless!

No doubt in my mind this is where Marcello Gandini got his inspiration for the legendary lamborghini countach.

  • @MrFiat131 Gotta love America and it's straight roads...

  • @MrFiat131 hahaha ok

  • Jesus it's a mile away and it sounds like its right next to you.

  • Bravo sir, beautiful car. Congrats

  • Gotta love modern technology & the ability to do almost anything (if ya got the money). Always liked the Pantera & yours represents the breed quite strikingly.

  • @kolbpilot Thanks, it is nice to know all of my hard work is appreciated.

  • the engine has very nice sound!!

  • What are the specs on the engine?

  • I am guessing chevys for dinner?

  • ferrari 4 lunch???????? r u fuckin' crazy??????? any ferrari could destroy this crap!

  • @biklandur Oh yeah that freaking crap your talking about won the le mans four times demoloshing the Ferrai gto

  • @biklandur not too likely. Ferraris are ok, but the raw meat-eating manner of a Pantera is hard to beat; sorry to burst your Ferrari bubble...

  • Such a beauty. Much better than the spoiler-spoilt ones. One of the most beautiful, best and beastliest cars ever made. Bliss!

  • this is the best sounding Pantera on YT I've seen so far... man what a great sound out of that Ford engine!

  • No mufflers? WOW it isn't too loud....it's perfect!! You got an awesome car!!

  • Gotta love the 72's dashboard

  • Are you running any mufflers? If so which ones are they? SOUNDS SOOO SWEET!

  • @jonas240z No mufflers, straight pipes!

  • No mufflers, straight pipes!

  • Beautiful car, rare but important piece of automotive history!

  • lambs wool seat covers lol my brother had thos in the 70's he picked up a hitch hiker chick and his car got crabs LOL

  • Holy crap.

  • see you around S.D. in my red pan.

    Your sound is a killer!

Keep the sheepskins, if it makes you happy, I know what a tight fit it is.

  • I'm fucking LOVE the awsome sound from the engine!!! <3

  • Oh man, am i seeing things or does this Pantera have lambs wool seat covers!!!!

You just cant put those seat covers in a car like the Pantera, what next, jumbo furry dice on the rear view mirror?

This car is a beast and the seat covers kill it, its like putting your pitbull in a lovely furry cutey dog jacket and taking him for a walk!

I have heard of a "sheep in wolfs clothing" but this is a case of a "wolf in sheeps clothing", literally! Its just wrong.......

  • Watched this vid like 50 times. Best sounding Pantera on You Tube. The seat covers make me cringe...the motor makes me tingle down there..and for the love of god put Manguso's back on the tires please. Beautiful car and I'm so jealous.

  • Bro, without going into a tirade, its a 70's Pantera. You would probably have gotten pulled over if you DIDNT have lambs wool seats.

  • I'm sorry, but is this YOUR car?? NO! So if the owner wants the sheepskin seat covers, then he will have sheep skin seat covers! Good day to you, sir!!!!

  • @fabregasfan1 You have never sat in a Pantera, unless you are racing, the seats are hard as a rock. With seat covers they can be comfortable while driving around town, then when you are ready to race, simply pull the seat covers instead of having two sets of seats.

  • @fabregasfan1 please, youre messing with this guys sex life.im joking.but i agree,i would never put sheepskin on that car.i wouldnt put them on my work truck,i wouldnt put them on a pinto,i wouldnt eat them with green eggs and ham either.ill throw a towl on my seat first.really nice car.

  • i dont like the fur stuff and the rims. maybe a mesh type would be awsome! althoigh a great car !!

  • Very nice car and colour..but loose the lamb sheep covers on the seats..they don´t match the rest of the dashboad etc.

  • wooooooooooooooow

  • was leather not enough?? lol jk nice car

  • very nice awesome clean engine!!

  • what year did they stop making cars?

  • i LOVE you!!

  • wow - another wild pantera from california.

The engine seems to be hardcore.

Did you kill the two sheep´s that has spent your seats surface in an accident?

  • This car is the most Kick ass sounding car I have ever heard.

  • bah baah wheres me wellies and velcro gloves the seat covers have got me exited

  • My dream car...

So old but still kick many ass....

  • @panoz66 and when you break something, its CHEAP to repair. most all old american car/truck/van engine parts will crossfit

  • a work of art.. congratts..

  • nice car, just thrwe sheep skin out, they smell bad.

  • Porsche's for breakfast,Ferrari's for lunch.. and a good dinner for cops

  • It's Ford powered. If it was Chevy powered it would have a distributor on the back of the engine. Nice 180 degree headers and sound!

  • Hmmm..you manage to keep it cool without the vent "combs" in the front. Chevy powered? Verrrry nice!

  • Wow, very nice!

  • I always drooled over these. They were on the road just as I got my license in '74. I'd see one now & then, even in Hampton, Va. Look but don't touch...

  • can you say bye bye birdie

  • sexiest car ever made

  • porsches for breakfest Ferrari's for lunch lambos for supper and bmws for a midnight snack

  • @sk8man420

..and a random apostrophe thrown in for..something or other..

  • @sk8man420 but tvr's my friend those are the cars you have to watch out for

  • I like your motto. :)

  • Lovely car, all except the furry clothing.

  • you forgot beer for my horses

  • 0:38 shagadelic yyeeeaaaa baby!

  • holy mother of christ.

  • these are nice cars, my grand father has a 73 detomaso pantera, its the 351 but bored out, it goes pretty good haha. hes taking it apart this fall though, he got a 460 racing block and has it bored to 557. should go reallyyy nice hahaha

  • Any ideas how fast it makes 0-60?

  • the original with 310 hp: 6.o s

  • under 5 seconds easily

  • 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001

  • That launch was awesome!

  • how many teddy bear did u kill to make ur seats???lol

  • wtf course it can, it can beats lamborghini diablos which do over 200 u fag

  • What a restoration!! Beautiful job. I hate to say, the Bullits do look better that the campos. Awsome leather job. And the pre L bumpers. I had a 72 pre L in the 70's- the L's looked lumpy, bulky bumpers.

  • The brakes looks week and the wheels are not right.... but what on earth were you thinking when you chose the seats??

  • whats for dinner.. i prefer lambo,s or a nice ashton martin

  • what type of engine is in it

  • Ford 351W V8

  • It should be and appears to be a 351 Cleveland. At the very tail end of production after they ceased exporting to the US in any numbers did they have anything besides a Cleveland and that was a 302.

  • You know what, I was wrong it WAS supposed to be a 351C my bad. Haha

  • Nice Pantera! That exhaust system is a work of art that plays beautiful music. :)
