The chemistry on the show was absolutely perfect. Gleason's judgment was impeccable, despite the fact that he had to be convinced to cast Audrey Meadows as Alice. Deep down, we knew Alice was a damned sight too good for Ralph, but if she could love him so completely-- well, we should probably cut him some slack, too, right?

That was a whole other episode. That episode was from the Honeymooners when it was a separate series. This episode is from the Honeymooners when it was still just a skit on the Jackie Gleason show.
