Jesus christ guys. I've seen a lot of strrength training concepts. You guys are really pioneers from what i've seen. Do you press the dumbbell against you torso instead of holding it with a double grip to focus effort on the core?
Yes, you definitely want to pull the db into your chest as you drive up. A regression to this movement would be to anchor your feet under a stationary object. This advanced version is unanchored and you have to force your legs outward against the cage.
It's interesting to see this old vid of you. You changed a lot over the years, to the better.
