Ok how many people annually get injured, hundreds? Maybe a couple thousand? How many injured by cars including lots of children annually? Hundreds of thousands? Millions? Does that mean we ban cars because idiots sometimes misuse them? Hell no. These people suck the life out of every fucking thing we do, I live in NJ and I go to PA for fireworks, fuck these laws. They take the fun out of hunting, guns, fireworks, and if I sat here for a bit longer, I could think of tons more.

@NotoriousEspada Actually most displays are free but I do love to start fires and plus my grandma's neighbor taught me about safety with fireworks in 2007! Read the comment below posted from my old channel (hyperbaricchicken101) and it explains exactly what he told me and what I saw him doing at that time when he set off fireworks for the fourth of july 4 years ago.

There is a trick to using fireworks safely at least this is my way.

1. Make sure the fuse is at least 3 inches to give you plenty of escape time

2. Keep a fire extinguisher on hand just in case.

3. Also put down a sheet of hard to burn material such a tinfoil and put a piece of it on areas of you that are more likely to catch fire.

4. Stay back at least 10 feet when using fireworks.

5. Sit back and enjoy!

Maybe we should stop flying and driving. There are more injuries and deaths every year because of those. Not to mention the dangerous machines that manufacture the parts for them and the dangers those people face daily. The NFPA should be concerned with safety and if they WERE truely concerned they would teach the safety standards and post HOW TO videos. Not tell the people that there is one more thing they want to take away from us!

Consumer fireworks used properly according to their instruction labels generally don't cause injury or harm. Only misuse or abuse of consumer fireworks causes serious injury harm or property damage, and don't think banning them from sale works because it would push the trade underground to an illegal blackmarket in unsafe unregulated import fireworks which would injure or kill the user and or people watching them.

Gee, maybe all citizens should be put in prison for their own safety. They would be protected from any harm by government trained guards with only the best intentions. This would ensure nobody would ever have an accident again. The NFPA are absolutely right, life is too dangerous!

Here is a suggestion. Give away all your freedoms. Stay at home with the blinds pulled and never go outside or live life at all. Make people have a license and "proper training" for everything. Celebrating the Fourth of July as we see fit should be a crime as well as thinking and acting for ourselves. In fact, lets just put all of our faith in the government and trained professionals. They have nothing but the best intentions, right? This is crazy.
