@4500intelx I think than you using a lite version of Windows 7, those versions don't have activated all effects, buy official Windows 7 or download full version of Windows 7 Ultimate, and you'll have all effects.

Windows7 is incredible! I downloaded it via Windows7FreeDLXcom (replace X with . ) and installed it on my work pc, and it runs excellent! My spouse and i absolutely highly recommend you all obtain it!

@shugafakker hola "shugafakker", si ves su antecesor de Windows 7, que fué Windows Vista, en la version Ultimate, de Vista, estaba una funcion llamada "Dreamscene" en el cual puedes poner videos de fondo, en Windows 7 lo desactivaron, pero hay un parche en el cual lo puedes volver a hacer, pero no tan genial como en Vista, de hecho cuando lo activas, se activa uno que otro error, ya que el Dreamscene no es oficial en Win 7, y por eso ocurren errores, te aconsejo que no lo hagas, nos vemoz =D

I think I understood you and friend, wrote that the program "Camtasia Studio 6", I gave in to edit "Callouts" elected "picture" I gave the color and transparency, and finally wrote them in the table, and voila, I hope I have served my friend, and forgiveness for not understanding before, you soon =)

Aero effect in Ares?

I duplicated the carpet "General" grom the

Skins (C:\Program Files\Ares\data\GUI)

change the carpet to "Aero" and delete

the file "mainbitmap" restart Ares, and

aplicate the new skin =D

its a blue box that says "Ask for genuine microsoft software" then underneith it theres a link that says "learn more online" You dont have that on yours?

Mine is RTM, I have applied every patch, reinstalled windows 7 3 times, it says that patch is applied and it works ok but there still is that blue box on the bottom right, right clicking on my computer, its the blue box on the bottom left.. so it doesnt show that on yours?

The same situation as in both of us running windows 7 non genuine not being able to get most of the updates, there are usually a lot of updates and ive only gotten like 20-25 so far....

It's not the same, go read about it, you don't get all of the updates therefor the operating system isn't at its full potential, having a non genuine version of windows 7 isn't as stable, you won't be able to get very many windows updates, mabey once in a little while but nothing good.

How did you get the real deal, I have used every crack, it says its valid and activated but its not genuin, right click on my computer, at the bottom do u see a blue box that says ask for genuine microsoft software?

u did not use compiz visual effects. totally blows away windows and mac os. look for videos of ubuntu.

you can't use Windows Aero, and I used compiz for ubuntu when I installed ubuntu in my computer, but it bore me, then I installed Windows 7 =)

look for Dreamscene themes, this thing was in vista ultimate extras which you could download with updates.

you have to have windows 7 ultimate, any build, besides, you have to have a video card compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7, to activate what is Windows Aero, and be able to change color transparencies and the window borders if you have those requirements, right-click on the desktop, give it to customize, and there looking into the option that says color in windows, and clever, lucky.
