Chaos takes place and Lumumba applies to the UN, asking for protection.

Meanwhile all the Europeans left in the country started to leave.Few natives were educated, thus leaving Congo without doctors mechanics and public servants. And when the situation forces

Lumumba to turn to Moscow asking for Russian support, the things in the country worsen.

Disagreement appears between Prime Minister Lumumba and president Casabumbu and they both cease to recognize each others titles and position.

The westerns take the chance to support Mobutus Coup détat.

Translation (4/4): Lumumba is arrested and tortured and forced to, literally, eat his independence speeches.

Afterwards he disappears and everyone speculates that he has been murdered, which turns out to be true. When he is publically announced as "Found dead while trying to escape"

on 12/2/1961. Since then Lumumba has joined the pantheon of African martyr-heroes that died for independence and freedom and became a symbol of that cause.
