Officers are trained to take someone to the ground where they can get more leverage to put handcuffs on someone. The supervisor shouldnt have gotten involved (supervisors are there to supervise) but essentially it doesnt matter, he took him to the ground for arrest... any questions.

Has anyone commenting ever put handcuffs on someone? I'm not bashing you just asking you to think about it. He wouldnt uncross his arms, which to an officer means resistance. Officers are trained to take someone to the ground where they can get more leverage to put handcuffs on someone. The supervisor shouldnt have gotten involved (supervisors are there to supervise) but essentially it doesnt matter, he took him to the ground for arrest... any questions.

I suggested that before jumping to conclusions based on video clips that only show one side of the story that perhaps its best not to jump to conclusions and wait for a more credible source or other video to show the full extent of the altercations. The guy in red I've seen before must have been another video. Its always the same pricks doing it. Like that old fart who pepper sprayed those girls back in October. He has issues before but departments just keep them around.

As usual the video purposefully starts in the middle of an event and the poster tries to steer what people see with misleading titles and/or descriptions. "the protester was acquiescing to police..." should rightly read: The protester was refusing to stand up during the arrest resulting in multiple officers struggling to support him as he intentionally lurched back and forth. This is a form of resisting arrest. Officers subdued the criminal.

Protester are committing a crime, They are loitering the streets and disturbing the peace with their annoying shouts. As a result they are causing nearby businesses to shut down because they're turning away customers. "Hey u wanna get some pizza at Tony's, its a nice and quite place" "Nah bro that place is crawling with drunk and angry protesters" Protesting doesn't work, mass boycotting will get corporate owners attention a lot faster. protesting hurts small local businesses.
