  • @russthelegend 57 - you'll find them both on the sampler "Handle with care" Probe 1970

  • @philwear Thanks Phil - that's where I first heard them. Is that album still available? On CD even?

  • Fantastic! More please! Have been searching high and low for two songs in particular - Got To Leave The City and Drink Your Wine. Wish I could find 'em!

  • Great song. Just think of the incredible talent in that band. Roy's a great singer, Dom was amazing, could play in any style. I miss him a lot. Prakash and Whitey were a great rhythm section, check out the work they have done since. A great Canadian band. Thanks for the post.

  • TO funk meets Detroit soul lost on the ears of the general public but revered? or feared by their peers ,so ahead of their time.

  • Were originally called Mandala

  • Saw BUSH at the University of Manitoba. They brought the roof down. The audience went nuts. I had never seen anything so exciting, until the Police years later. What could have been for this band. What a shame.

  • All of these guys should be in the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. What the heck is going on that they aren't? Big old goofy world

  • These guys played at my High School, along with Crowbar, Steel River, and Mother Tuckers Yellow Duck...

I still own a nice mint vinyl copy of this LP...great stuff!

  • Yes , The Band that opened for Bush I can attest that Bush was AWesome !!!!! Domenic played through a whirling leslie speaker! Prakash the bass player went on to play with Alice Cooper (as did the drummer, Whitey ) ... Welcome to my nightmare stuff. Domenic is now in the Canadian music hall of fame !!!! Brian Martinez of ETC...

  • Incredible band! Saw them at Taft High School back in the 70's and they blew the place a part. RIP Domenic. Whitey Glan is one of greatest unheard drummers!

  • Great band that was a little ahead of their time and unfortunately never got the attention (except from other musicians) they deserved. Arthur Thomas

  • A YT friend just jogged my memory, and had to have a listen to this excellent Canadian Band. Thank you for posting this classic.
