  • How much time did you put in to this evenings adventure?

  • well i remember last year making alot of the same noises oh and alot of others not appropiate for a video keep it up dont be discouraged your time will come some clad is better than none it may not be silver or gold but it adds up and can be spent bye for now and may all your finds be silver and gold

  • haha nice....I never seen anyone pinpoint a worm....Awesome

  • hello hunters nice video ! Please check out my detecting videos!!!

  • I enjoyed your video and your good humor about it.

Keep hunting ... and good luck!!!!

  • This is funny , I experience the exact type of finds alway hoping for a ring or something more interesting then a penny.

  • Yep! Have those kind of find too many times. Doesn't help that my father-in-law loved to drink and toss cap and pull tabs. ;)

Just starting out with my Ace 150 to get a feel.

How deep does your Garrett GTI 2500 detect and what's the deepest you've found an item?

    Thanks.

  • the way you have to look at it is not you found twenty pieces of crap, but that you found twenty more places were there wasn't gold keep hunting you're just increasing your odds

  • the reason he is finding crap is because he did not do any research to any possible relic sites. detecting in random spots like a public park will get you nothing

  • Good video. Forget the stupid comments on here. HH JackinAustin

  • I envy your determentie.

  • From the land of the Bluenose.....dig and they will come once you are one with your machine. Lifetime garrett swinger!

  • i have a garrett ace 250 and al i have found so far is junk but i have only tryed in my and my family yards, the 1st time i went out to a local park only about 14, 15 yrs old i found 38 2cent coins. i no im going to get something really big 1 day :)

HH and trash is good, once you find it, theres less of it, less 4 you to find and less litter in the world ;)

  • Second, with my Ace, when I get a good signal in coin mode, It isn't always a coin, I switch back to all metal and it starts to signal in the Iron section. So that's one way to check to see if it's a coin or Iron!

Good Luck on next hunt. Try it out! let me know.

    CoinZapper.

  • I don't know to much about the 2500 only that it's a great machine in the hand of a skilled detectorist. For starters, check you pinpoint, if it makes a distorted sound after you let go of the pinpoint, it's aluminum or a big chunck of junk. That's how my Tejon reads it.

  • It was $1300 and it is VERY acurate! There is only so many different types of metal AND. I was hunting on a local park.... NOT an old park... You want old go to old land... I just stayed pretty local! You want gold you ,MUST dig pull tabs... Sounds like you are one of many who should NOT get into this hobby! Take care!

  • if its accurate then why did you pull up so much shit? I have a GTA 500 and it drives me crazy reads dime and its a small nail??? Did you use the image I.D. on it????

  • @cycloneCJproducts

So you assume buying an expensive will automatically give you the best targets? lol, sorry my friend but that's a bit ignorant, you can buy a $9,000 metal detector, the one that comes with a laptop and heavy gear, and if you don't know how to use it you will fail. Detecting is based on research, luck and knowledge of the hobby and your machine, do you know what iffy signals are? How about Iron infestation? Exactly. Go read some more and then come back.

  • @cycloneCJproducts

Doesn't seem like it. You really want to fight over this calling each other names? Grow up.

  • I love how you don't sound jaded. As you must realise by now, you have to dig alot of trash to find the good stuff. You're paying your dues, The payoff can't be long coming. Keep smiling sweetie.

    Mark

    U.K

  • AHHH thank you!!

  • It's called Imaging, aren't you using it instead of digging all that trash???

  • I sure did...

  • really like how you have evolved during the past two months.

The humour, the huffs and puffs ;-)

  • Great Video Ryannlag, LOVE the humor...looks like you had a long day girl but that's the fun of itall..thanks for sharing...more please! Obn

  • Good work and a good video (I appreciate the fact that you flipped through the finds quickly and didn't spent much time showing the actual digging). Your day is coming so don't quit!!!

  • great video, why is your ratings disabled?i wanted to give you a 5 star. when that ring comes itll be a well earned reward! and the best feeling ever. keep up the good work and great videos!

  • That park looked like it would be packed with coins! Charming video. Thanks

  • Yes, totally packed with CLAD coins... LOL! However, I was using jewelry mode to find the GOLD that didn't show up...hahahahh

  • silver?

  • Silver what??

  • Great video, very honest, those drinks containers are a big pain but they must be dug, a ring-pull can give the same signal as an 18ct gold ring.

  • That's a great start on your pull tab collection !!!

    Very nice video. KD SD

  • YEP ! We all must dig up the junk!
