@ThatPotterTribute7 Go snow shoveling if you live where it snows. Get a group of three people and go from door to door and shovel snow for some money. (Just ask the owners before you do!) Especially elderly people/really busy people who just need a little help clearing their walkway or driveway. You can make like $150 for a day of shoveling and split it. Just two days of shoveling and you'd have enough for a doll! Having a group is better so you get it done faster and have a buddy. ;) My 2¢!

Those don't really work in my neighborhood... except for selling - but though ads; rummage sales don't work very well. My Mom and Grandma consider baby sitting and helping around the house to be part of living in the house and I shouldn't get paid for it. Lemonade doesn't work well either. If I get a liquior liscense, then I'd get some lemonade sellin'... just not to kids.

and thanks for the tips! I've never had a problem with saving up for my dolls, because every year (from ages 5-10) for my birthday I got an American girl doll for my birthday, from my grandparents. (My older sister, too, but hers were ages 7-12) but this definately helped saving up for OTHER stuff. Like that huge gap in the birthday budget, even though the dolls are at a lower price than catalog... Like my sister saved up for two years to buy a Nintendo Wii.

Hi! I've been watching a lot of your videos, and I was wondering if you have a way to fix frizzy, weird textured (I dont think my Samantha doll is supposed to have hair that feels- textured) and simply un-tame hair. my oldest doll is coming on 7 years old- but she's Kit, so I dont have a problem with her, but there is an issure with the two I got after her, and my 5th doll, Josephina's hair I left unbrushed, so it's totally tangled and I want to restore it without ripping it all out!

Great ideas! I also have another- if u live by the water and if cruise ships ever stop- such at Carnival Cruises, Royal Caribbean, etc. then u can sell anything from cookies, lemonade, painted rocks with ur town's name on them, etc. and usually u can buy a permit for selling at the Harbor where the passengers get off. Ask the Harbor Master or someone u know who may know where to get them.

btw, I sold homemade cookies and lemonade once, and I made around $60, very good way to make money, and, I did not have to have a food license, one time a cop got a few cookies, he was only suppose to pay $4 but he gave me a $20!!!!!!!!!!
