  • an elaborate lie!

  • We're talking about a God that can part water. You don't think God would be able to give Moses a reaction to a song his mother sung to him as a child ?

  • Did anyone else get confused at 3:43 and thought that he was a certain romantic enchanted candlestick?

  • a slave tells you you're her sister and you believe her. yeah, no that makes sense.

  • @goatasaurus he remembered the lullaby and looked and two her eyes and remembered her...pay attention lol

  • @MsTremaineNeverson85 He was only a baby, though. Way too young to remember. And there's no way that she would readily assume he'd respond to such by singing it.

    Goatasaurus has a valid point.

  • @BigBrotherMateyka Actually it's possible to remember things when you're a baby. My dad remembers things when he was a baby, it's just really rare.

  • so many memories

  • What happened to Moses' real mom??

  • @Winxclublover02 in the actual story (in the Bible) when Miriam see's the queen take him up she tells her that she knows a nurse (Moses' and her mum) who could look after him for her so she lets Miriam take Moses home and he's brought up there. when he became old enough (around the age of 13) he was sent for so he could live as a prince.

  • Wh

  • i cam get to donwlond wai??

  • that part was so heartbreaking when Ramses is pleading for moses to stay but moses feels in his heart he can't. the heartbreaking separation of siblings due to circumstances. :(

  • the teenage angst of moses....

I know he's probably not a teen at all, but just shut the fuck up.... let me and my silly comments be (a warning to flame war starters)

  • @BlackRose2354 lol yeah, Moses was 40 when he left Egypt and he was 80 when he returned from Midian. And he was 120 when he died. He took it all slowly ;D

  • love his dream

  • omg that part acutally scared me more than anything else...much more than when I was little.

  • l I'm not talking about you I'm talking about the person who disliked this

    l

  • Why were babies killed?

  • @SophieAndHerTrophy Because the pharoah had seen that the isrealites were growing too large in number and order his men to all the children under 2. Moses would have died too.

  • @Kamisa Ah okay

  • @SophieAndHerTrophy the isrialites were growing too powerful and strong and the pharoh thought that they would take over egypt so pharoh had all baby biys to be killed

  • @SophieAndHerTrophy Because they thought there will be a boy who would take over him that will be greater then pharoah. This was before Jesus was born. That's why order to kill all babies under 2

  • @smoke10108 King Herod was the king who didn't want the special baby to be born so he ordered for all the new born baby boys to be killed. Jesus was alive but his parents took him to Egypt to escape. The new Pharaoh made all the Hebrews (descendants of Josephs family who had moved to Egypt when Joseph became Pharaoh) slaves because he thought they were becoming to big in number so he wanted to cut them down.

  • The person who disliked this isn't a christain

  • @FlameTehFireLeopard I'm not christian and I wouldn't dislike this.

  • i thing Ramses disliked these vids. thumbs up if you agree

  • the person who disliked these videos

why did u even watch this

  • 8:22 is so sad makes me cry :'(

  • 2:05 - 3:35 TERRIFIED me as a kid.

  • Love this movie !

  • this movie makes me cry....it's so beautiful yet true

  • I'm atheist and yet I love this film.

  • This movie gives me the shiverss

  • i loved this movie as a kid and still do. when i saw that man beating the slave with the whip, i felt myself grinding my teeth in anger. I forgot how intense that part made me feel O.O

  • The mother doesn't look any older than she did at the beginning of the movie. How old is Moses supposed to be?

  • @hypnosegirl16 that's the sister

  • Whenever it gets to "I am a sovereign prince of Egypt" I always get goosebumps.

  • This voice acting, animation, music even the lighting makes this so convincing - it's impossible not to be touched by this scene, I'm pretty sure anyone with a brother will agree.

  • @SertavisSeviPianist the greater good.

  • in the bible moses was banished but in this he kinda banished himself

  • Opps...I think the only reason my mom let me watch this when i was 5 was because i said it was weird that the aliigators wanted to raise human kids

  • The whole feeding-babies-to-crocodiles thing was brutal when I was a kid. Fucked me up.

  • For the greater good.

  • sorry, but I don't see the point of the weird carving thing :/

  • @Binx4Eva1604 its tht dream tht forces moses 2 seek out the truth, witout it he wud've lived a lie as prince of egypt, nevr became the shepard tht led the hebrews out of egypt, n wudn't ave followed gods path....its a short but important part of the story. think of it as a kick in the ass 4 moses 2 find out wot miriam sed is true.

  • @Binx4Eva1604 let me reply in proper english. the dream is his way of realizing what really happened when he was a baby. he goes to investigate it in the temples to see if its was true that his "father" sacrificed first borns babies those years ago and its hard for him to see the man he looked up to as a murderer. this is what makes him want to find out who he really is and why those cruelties were done

  • this part creeped me out when i was little

  • Why do Christians present prophet Moses as an arrogant man? Why would God choose an arrogant man as a prophet?

  • @nefrinhayat the bible actually never depicted moses as arrogant this is hollywood

  • @nefrinhayat God would choose the lowest of the low to bring to him and carry out his work. As it says in the Bible he did not come for the righteous, he came for the sinners :)

  • @likilikilulu18 so you think prophet moses was among the "lowest of the low" ? anyway, we view the prophets very differently. we believe that they were the purest among mankind, the best examples, so people could look up to them and follow them. all the prophets including prophet moses is cherished in quran unlike the bible i guess. y would God speak to an arrogant person instead of a pious person? is not a poius person more worthy of speaking to God?

  • @nefrinhayat Sorry, I was not trying to say Moses was the lowest of the low, just trying to make a point that God would choose flawed people to carry out his work. Also, in the Bible it does not depict Moses as an arrogant man, that is just something the makers of the movie thought up. i would never begin to try to claim that i know why god chooses the people he does. :)

  • @likilikilulu18 Well Moses was Hebrew but raised Egyptian he knew he WAS HEBrew in reality, but egyptians were arrrogant...

  • @nefrinhayat this account is based on the Bible not the quran!...the quran is false inaccurate, inconsistent, and flat out evil book.....why wuld anyone want to read ur quran knowing whats its filled with?....beside ur concerned that Moses was a sinner, when Mohammad married Aisha when she was just 6 yrs old. thats called pedophilia! hes a sick and disgusting man worst than Moses

  • @HelloWorld1947 I showed respect to christians and didn't just attack ur book thinking that u deserve it. and now u show me so much disrespect, and maybe ur presenting ur religion. the bible is not an authentic book since many things have been added and deleted from it..storys made up by people and christians do admit it. i am NOT saying that Moses a.s. was a sinner!!! we, muslims believe in the prophethood of moses a.s and believe that he wasn't a sinner!! or arrogant.

  • Comment removed

  • @HelloWorld1947 it seems strange for me as to prophet moses a.s. is presented as an arrogant person when he Wasn't!! those things that u wrote apply to bible not the quran lolz. every normal head knows that.

  • @HelloWorld1947 so now count if you know how to count. 19+2=21. at the time it was a norm that girls were much younger than their husbands. after all we're talking about over thousand years ago.

  • i wish disney would make an animated movie about Samson & Delilah
