@ThinIceStudios Well, you could consider the Spirits to be their partners, but no, they don't get rookie-level friends like in other seasons. You still have a digimon's power combining with a kid's courage, faith, etc to make a stronger digimon fighter. The only difference is that this time the human does all the work instead of hiding behind his giant monster buddy. =)

I used to think that using cards to modify your Digimon was just plain stupid, but I've since learned to love it. @DestinySeraphim Man, you should watch the Japanese versions of all the digimon seasons! ^^ In the japanese versions the digimon say to them what they should do. For example, In season 2 V-mon says to davis that he sould say: digiarmor energize or something like that, The Japanese versions make much more sence and they explain a lot more, but the English version is in my upinion in every season funnier.
